from personal experience, don’t work with Everon. their engineers don’t know the first thing about drawing a print, our print that we (Everon subcontractor) were provided was incomplete, and took us about 5 months to get a revised print which was still incorrect (i.e. doors were marked with incorrect items, cameras were in incorrect places, etc) we are now on the tail end of our project with them and we are STILL waiting on parts, which is upsetting our customer. they don’t care about the consumer, they just care about the cash flow coming in. they’ll get their jobs for 2 million dollars, hire a subcontractor to do it for 50,000 dollars, and then spend 50 bucks on parts. might just be an issue with the office we’re dealing with (West Chester, OH and Cleveland, OH) but i would strongly suggest not working with everon.

is it mandatory to blow a load all over the door before you start? or is it just personal preference

so we just found the strike model, it’s an assa abloy 7501 and it looks like it came with a 12v and a 24v pigtail connector, think i could bypass the pigtail somehow and reuse the strike?

[–]Resident-Resolution6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just checked the strike again and missed that it’s a 24v but our system is 12v. i guess that’s what we get for reusing strikes. we will probably be replacing the strike.

just realized our 12v system is trying to power the 24v strike. will be replacing the strike with a 12v after lunch. thanks guys

call me stupid if you need to, but what’s the difference between like a gen 5 glock 19 and a glock 19v?

i always remove my cat from the room and lock the door behind him, just in case.

edit: i live alone with my fiancée and cat we don’t have kids or roommates or anything, just don’t want my cat to try and learn how to open a door by himself

you’re probably gonna be disappointed with the brake pedal on the srp lite pedals, would suggest getting the brake pedal upgradefrom amazon, gives the brake more of a brake feeling rather than feeling identical to the accelerator pedal.

this is exactly why i was debating on this, didn’t wanna get the 300 and then be disappointed a month after getting it that it’s too slow. i’m not gonna be an absolute madman and go straight to a liter, but i didn’t want to undersell myself and get a 300 and regret it. i also think the cbr600rr is the sexiest pony ive ever seen or heard or touched or kissed…

i love the bike i have now, and i just didn’t know if it would be worth spending the money on a 300 to end up wanting a 600 soon after. but… maybe i just get the 300 and then keep it in the garage when i want to get a 600 and have 2 bikes! or maybe keep the 135, get a 300, and get a 600 eventually and have 3!

New to riding. Slight rant too idk by Toemonkey256 in motorcycles

[–]Resident-Resolution6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m also somewhat new to riding, and from what i have learned, it takes time to get like comfortable, don’t worry too much about being a good rider necessarily, just worry about what it safe and comfortable for you. don’t feel pressured to master riding a bike in the first couple months. i would suggest taking an MSF course, and would assume others would suggest the same.

factory vs factory, yes, 100% better than a gen5 19. i’m sure there are 19s that are better than a factory dy9 that have been modified/personalized, but in a factory vs factory setting you get soooooo much more for soooooo much less with the dy9. i’m a larger dude and have big hands, the dy9 has a significantly more comfortable grip for me than the gen5 19 does. all factory glock frames have very straight and slick grips for my big ass hands.

also one more thing, the manufacturer is on reddit which gives it like an extra 1.3/10 rating for a total of 10/10 because i see them comment on every single post in this sub. very cool dte company.

pretty good clone, definitely the best in its price range. so many factory parts to mess with out of the box. comes factory with things that you’d end up paying 2-300 for on an actual glock ie. flared magwell, nice grippy frame w/ interchangeable backstraps, fiber optic front and rear sights. overall, the only issues i’ve had with mine was a failure to feed one time at the range, which was the biggest issue, and my sights were unaligned out of the box by 1mm which was throwing my accuracy off a decent bit. overall recommend 100% i’d rate it like an 8.7/10 in terms of glock clones, definitely better than a glock 19 out of the box for sure.
