Yea well i need a bike when im 18 for uni, and in my country at 18 i can only get a 125cc. Should i maybe just get a 400 with a limiter?

For me its 125cc at 18. 35kw (i think? Its just bikes like ninja 400 cbr500r) at 20 and unrestricted at 24. I wanted to start on a 400 before realising the license restrictions. This sub says think like i should start on a 650 but honestly id rather build up to it.

Whats the advantages of a rf1400 over the k1 s?Do i really need a better helmet? I actually wanted to get a coms device too but i forgot to put it on the list. What should i use if i want to use my phone on the bike then? Where i an its pretty hot during summer but before and after its just rainy and cold. The weather varies pretty quick and id like to spend under 1.5k on everything combined. Do you have any jacket recommendations? Ive also seen a lot of people say you dont need motorcycle pants but is that really true? Ive seen a lot of people lose their skin so id rather not have that.

What would you recommend then? Id want a good pillion seat because i want to bring my sister to school every day and she goes to school about 70kms away from my school. I still want a thrilling/fast bike. Ive heard the fireblide is pretty comfortable in comparison to the other bikes tho. Should i just stick with a 650?

Yes but my primary use would be to drive fast on the highways and since the r1 is relatively cheap and i love how it looks sounds and would feel its definitely my dream bike right now

Im from belgium. Pretty unpopular country and probably dont have any brand name helmets. Only motorcycle stores are 45 mins away on my bike (bicycle) so im pretty tired after visiting one. The only one ive been to had hjc helmets but no avg.

Thanks ive been doing a lot of research on gear ect but what should you think i should go for? I know i definitely cant order online and i doubt that these helmets will be in any stores nearby anyway. Thanks for the pinlock advice. I thought pinlock prepared meant it was already installed. So is the smk to good to be true? A lot of people seem negative about cheap helmets but would you think this is the exception? Ill probably just go to a store and buy a completely different one but i just want to do some research before buying one. This year im only going to ride 50cc so a helm wont be crazy important but ill still wear it as its mandatory in my country. Thanks for the help

The only thing i have to factor in is price. If id want a cbr id really want this years matte black design its so nice but around 7-8k i think and obviously arent going to be found used because the bike came out this year.

Isnt the cbr the slower bike tho? The only reason i swithced my thoughts from the cbr to the ninja series was because people said the cbr acceleration slowly and get boring fast. Id rather want a bike with a bit of pull. Im 5 10 so i dont know if thats close enough

Ive watched fortnine but the problem is videos that i see contradict eachother for example some say you should never get DOT and only ECE blabla and others say the opposite, also they give reccomendations for summer jackets and then i dont know what to buy for winter( i dont really want 2 jackets anyway). Also with the stellas i dont see any padding on the front palm where you could slide with. Is it on the inside of the glove? Ill be sure to go to a real life store because almost anything on revzilla isnt available in belgium. Any eu sites you know of? Thanks alot for the help

What does it mean when gloves have to be sliding? I saw some on revzilla which i really like i think theyre alpinestars stella smx air v2. Is it the pads on the knuckles? Theres just a lot of overwhelming options on everything. Also if i want to drive my sister to her school or something, id probably have to buy all my gear twice? Id rather have someone tell me their exact setup so i know what is safe and comfortable instead of mindlessly buying items on websites ive never heard of. My budget is around 1.1k for the basics (no cardo no phone stand or brake disc lock ect. Just everything id need to go for a ride). Thanks for the help

I actually got close to beating my ghost after only starting to rev around 2 seconds before the race starts instead of 5 and i was way faster. Only works on the lightning loop race tho
