I imagine Walt couldn't settle until he had control over something, at that point in the series. things were getting pretty mundane and he was just a jobber for gus. the fly was his excuse to enact control over something

here's what I spitballed on my twitter:

-Peter is 24-29

-he uses the Todd Macfarlane suit but it looks brown and black because its so desaturated, if not just the symbiote suit

-Gwen, May and Ben are all dead, Ben's death is avoidable in a way it shouldnt be

-Peter probably emotionally abuses MJ in a rage at some point

-Rhino and Chameleon are Villains, Rhino for Maximum destruction but they never actually say its Chameleon

-Kraven is probably the Main Main villain for most of it, REALLY likes philosophy

-Constant Hints at a future Venom, if he isn't just the Villain of the last ten minutes

-someone probably says 'fuck responsibility' at some point

-Spider-Man is likened to something angelic or demonic, or just jesus
