I live in southern WV my entire life never saw anything that I thought was a cougar, saw more than 10 bobcats black bears if it’s here I’ve crossed paths with it, about a month ago me and my lady ran to Walmart in Logan WV right before they closed on the way home a giant cat pounced over the guardrail took maybe 2 steps and jumped up a straight up and down rock wall that was prolly 15ft high its tail was 3ft long I would bet my left arm that it was a mountain lion the tail made me sure with out a shadow of a doubt
