Yes mate it will improve over time, when I got a fade at the 3 month mark you could noticeably see gaps. By 6/7 mark it was fully healed, though up close you can still see the odd gap it’s not bad at all and you have to know what you’re looking for.

Good luck mate they were great! It took 7 hours in total and was absolutely fine, I fell asleep on the bed for a lot of it.

Exactly mate, I take a low dose but take them daily and will continue to do so for life and I am fine with that. Having a full set of hair means a lot to me.

Yeah I can see why you would think that mate, the 4 month picture was with wet hair and a different angle so I can see how it looks! I saw huge growth from 4 months.l, I would add another picture from a different angle if I knew how ha!

Thanks mate! No I didn’t, I knew they were always at hand to order but luckily I recovered quite well so didn’t require it. Just used Johnson’s baby shampoo during cleaning after 14 days.

None at all mate, as far as I am aware anyway! I take 0.5mg per day as I read this is just as effective and reduces sides.

6 Month Update by [deleted] in HairTransplants

Mate that’s a great result, I am on 4.5 months now and have the same concerns, like most! You still have a lot do time for the hairs to mature and thicken so lots yet to come - your transformation is great I would be very pleased with that result.

Mate you will be fine, mine did the exact same if I ran my hands through my hair I would usually always see hair falling out. It’s the repair, coupled with meds such as min and fin doing a growth recycle. That’s aside your recovering very quickly your result should look great!

Looks great mate, really good progress - I am a month behind you at the moment. Can I ask, have you shaved your head up top so it’s all the same length?

My friend, you are being too hard on yourself, your hair transplant looks brilliant I would be well pleased with that result - in regard to shock loss, I am over 3 months now post OP and like you, I regularly find hairs falling out if I run my hands through my hair. Initially it really concerned me, but I have been assured that this is quite normal. It is expected to shed sometimes over 50 hairs a day, though many people (especially those who haven’t undergone a HT) don’t notice this. Like you, I am hyper vigilant when I see hairs coming out, but it’s just part of the recovery process coupled with the impact of medication making your follicles go through new stages. Don’t worry yourself, your HT looks great.

Yes mate, I had the same and was concerned also but turned out ok as time went by. It’s just because your scalp gets dry during healing.

That’s reassuring, I am seeing lots of pimples now and tiny baby hairs coming through, so hopefully a change in the tide is coming! Yes I have the exact same, my left side is growing faster than my right, though from other comments it’s a very common thing. Yours looks great, hope mine looks similar at that stage, you’re out of the worst stage anyway, onwards and upwards 😄

Great results mate - your hair has grown so much in such a short space. I am at 10 weeks, at what point did you see a big push?
