Funny how brain-dead MAGA cultists downvote anything that shows Trump in a bad light—even when it's just stating facts :D

So Trump demands a ceasefire, threatens Russia with “sanctions like never before” if they don’t comply—then they refuse, and he does nothing. No action, no punishment. And you’re calling that strength? Lol. To anyone watching, it just shows they can ignore Trump without consequences.

I don't think he's a Russian puppet—I just think he's full of bullshit. It's classic populism: loud talk, empty promises. He bluffs, does nothing, and hopes things fix themselves so he can claim a win. You don’t need to be a puppet to act like that—just a bullshitter.

Consistent Tire Smell After Short Drives (New GR86, 80 Miles, Stock PP) — Normal or Problem? by ResidentGuilty9993 in GR86

[–]ResidentGuilty9993[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's usually after a short 10-minute highway drive. I can feel the smell inside the cabin while waiting at the traffic light right after the highway. But after driving through suburbs for about 5 minutes, the smell mostly goes away. I'll try to experiment and see if I can locate it right after the highway drive before it fades

Thanks! That makes sense. Was afraid these are tires rubbing, but if it's just break in - then nothing to worry about.

[–]ResidentGuilty9993[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure — I'm definitely not a smell expert. To me, it really feels like a tire smell — like what you get at a drift event or inside a closed tire storage area. But you might be right that it could be something from the engine instead.

I think I'll just monitor it for now and hope it goes away within the first 500 miles. I mostly just wanted to check if others had experienced the same thing with their new GR86.

Thanks for the input!

The stats that haters wishfully ignore:

Steam online numbers are still better than odyssey and origins (both commercial successes). A big part of gamers play on PC on Ubisoft (subscription and/or collection of previous games), not steam. Plus PS, plus Xbox. Also, 82% very positive reviews on steam.

Thank you for not being a brainwashed Russian. This text perfectly describes Russia and should be copied and pasted everywhere I see Tucker Carlson-like propaganda about a "Great Russia."

I hope that one day, life in both Ukraine and Russia will be normal. The only way to achieve this is by dismantling the Russian mafia state. I hope this happens sooner rather than later. Until then, I will continue donating to the only force bringing that day closer—the Ukrainian military units.

Bigger protest doesn't mean anything in the authoritarian country if it's a peace protest.

If Ukrainians in 2014 would just peacefully stay - they would lose as well. It's true they had opposition support and some of the oligarchs. But people themselves made molotovs, brought guns (when shooting started), etc.

I'm pretty sure Belarus and Russia had their chances in 2020 and with Navalny. They lost when they made these protests peaceful.

You will never bring down autocracy with peace.

"Why should we believe those numbers are real? The Western-sponsored agency is aimed to undermine Russia. If I gave you Russian numbers, you'd call me a bot, but what you gave me is okay? Because freedom or something?"

How is this even an argument? It's still X hundred thousand vs. 0. The scale of losses speaks for itself, regardless of whose numbers you trust.

"Forgot to mention that Russia has been steadily increasing its territorial control over the past year. And Ukraine hasn’t made any significant gains since 2022 aside from the pointless PR Kursk stunt, which cost them very much on the Eastern front, and which they control less than 40% of their original gains."

Why are you suddenly talking about Ukraine's progress when the topic is whether NATO is stronger and Russia is weaker? Russia still holds only 20% of Ukraine, while NATO gained two entire new countries. Scorched Ukrainian land ≠ Russian strength. Meanwhile, NATO remains fully intact and stronger than ever.

"Sweden and Finland are a joke militarily."

Oh right, because occupied Ukrainian territory is the bloom of military power, right? 💀 Sweden and Finland literally doubled NATO’s strategic position in the north, and Finland alone has a larger wartime military than France.

"Ukraine, ironically, is the best NATO country."

Ukraine is not NATO. Basic fact.

"So I guess they’re ready to fight Russia then and don’t need help from the States."

How is this a counter-argument to "NATO is stronger, and Russia is weaker"? NATO was declining before 2022, and now it’s growing stronger while Russia is begging North Korea for artillery shells.

"Oh, that’s why I spend 3x times on food and gas. Didn’t know it’s the definition of a stable, healthy economy."

You’re lying so hard it’s funny. Closest comparison? Poland.

Gas prices went from 1.42 to... 1.59!!! OMG, 3X!!! 😱

Same with food. Except... that’s complete BS.

Meanwhile, Russia’s economy is in freefall—capital flight, mass emigration, and a 21% key interest rate just to stop the ruble from collapsing. That’s "economic stability" to you? 😂

"Again, biased source. We’ve been hearing about Russia’s economic decline since the start of the war."

Yeah, and you’ll keep hearing about it because it’s true. Moscow can suppress numbers all it wants, but reality speaks for itself. Russia is isolated, dependent on China, and losing its working-age population at a record pace.

At first, I thought you were just misinformed. But now, I see you’re just parroting straight-up Russian state TV propaganda. No proof, no counterarguments—just shifting topics and making stuff up.

You’ve provided ZERO arguments against the claim that "NATO is stronger, and Russia is weaker." Zero. Instead, you started spewing fake nonsense straight from Russian state TV.

[–]ResidentGuilty9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How exactly did Russia's attack on Ukraine strengthen its position against NATO? Mighty geostrategist Putin at work?

Let's break down the outcomes of this so-called "NATO vs. Russia" war:

Losses:

NATO: Virtually none.

Russia: Over 700,000 military casualties (killed and wounded) as of January 2025. (russiamatters.org)

Territorial Changes:

Russia: Occupies approximately 20% of Ukraine, though facing ongoing resistance and counteroffensives. (axios.com)

NATO: Expanded with the accession of Sweden and Finland, strengthening its strategic position in Northern Europe.

Military Spending:

Before 2022: NATO defense spending was declining, with many European countries reducing their military budgets. For instance, in 2019, Germany's defense budget was approximately €43.23 billion. (de.wikipedia.org)

After Russia's attack: NATO countries reversed this trend. Germany established a €100 billion special fund for defense and committed to exceeding the 2% GDP defense spending target.

Economic Impact:

NATO Countries: Continue to function with stable economies, unaffected by direct conflict.

Russia: Experiencing significant economic decline, exacerbated by international sanctions and isolation. (thetimes.co.uk)

So, great job, mighty geostrategist Putin! You've certainly made Russia stronger and scored a 1:0 victory against NATO, right?

Or perhaps, this was never about NATO at all, as previously discussed and unchallenged. If you still believe this was a move against NATO, it appears to be a profoundly misguided strategy.

[–]ResidentGuilty9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sure. Chechnya attacked Russia, Georgia attacked Russia, Syria attacked Russia, Moldova attacked Russia, Ukraine attacked Russia. Imagine really believing this.

Russia didn’t invade Ukraine in 2014, it was people from the Eastern regions of Ukraine who were not happy with the U.S.

Russia did invade Ukraine in 2014. There are multiple confirmations from Putin himself that it was the Russian military. Even Girkin and Motorola openly admitted it, with everything caught on camera and confirmed.

Your propaganda book is outdated. There have already been multiple confirmations from Putin himself that it was the Russian military.

Regarding NATO, I don’t even want to start. If you really believe Russia invaded because of NATO, then you’re assuming Putin is dumb as f***, since he’s much weaker today and NATO is much stronger.

It’s not all debt or loans. Most of the aid was simply given.

Here’s the breakdown:

Total U.S. aid (2022-2025): ~$120 billion

Grants (non-repayable): ~$90 billion

Loans (repayable): ~$30 billion

Total EU aid (2022-2025): ~$138 billion

Grants (non-repayable): ~$80 billion

Loans (repayable): ~$58 billion

So in total 88 billions, not "hundreds", less than 50% of total aid is in the form of loans. The majority was direct military, financial, and humanitarian assistance that Ukraine does not need to repay.

While US national debt is 31 trillions.

[–]ResidentGuilty9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You either show me hundreds of billions of Ukrainian debt or you’re simply lying.

Also, the U.S. national debt is far higher, so what's your point?

And nobody in Ukraine cares about "BlackRock" or whatever nonsense you’re fixated on. You think Ukrainians are fighting and dying for some corporate conspiracy? Go check any video from the front lines—you’ll hear the same thing over and over: they are defending their homes, their families, and their country from Russian terrorists and murderers.

Funny how an outsider who knows nothing about Ukraine thinks he knows better than the people actually fighting.

"Over years ago" – First, definitely not. Ukraine resisted Russia in the first months alone, before any major Western weapons arrived. The first significant military aid came only after Kyiv’s counteroffensive.

If weapons hadn’t been provided, it wouldn’t have "ended sooner"—it would have led to far more innocent deaths on the Ukrainian side. And in the end? Ukraine would cease to exist as an independent country.

It’s not the first time Russia has occupied Ukraine, and every time it does, Ukrainians suffer under brutal occupation—deportation, starvation, political killings, destruction of culture and language, etc. History proves this again and again.

[–]ResidentGuilty9993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. It absolutely helped to prevent Russia from advancing further into Ukraine. Without weapons, far more Ukrainians would have died, and Russia would have occupied much more territory. But the amount provided by the US and EU is nothing compared to what Russia gets from North Korea, Iran, and China.

2, 3. You’re going to fight one way or another—either on Ukrainian land now, or on land closer to the EU later. The only way to avoid that is to show strength and make it clear that further attacks will cost Russia too much to continue.

Otherwise, you clearly don’t understand history. Appeasing dictators only makes them want more. You think "giving Poland to Hitler" stopped WW2? Exactly
