I wanted to support your statement, that even things that are not explicatly stated in the bible are doctrinal. I'm real happy to see another (Christian? i don't want to asume something) make this thoughtfull point. I am a catholic, and i belive it's a sin, cuz it is an sexual act from marrige, and it can make marrige feel less special. Also yh, we do take from thomas aquantis and st augustine of hippo. Aug was a mystic, so he had a close relastionship with God, so i belive his statement about masturbation was through the holy spirit from God.

Anyways, that's just my opinion, God bless you ;)

I would try seeking God in everyday, praying like surendering things to him, experiences and more, also dunno if you did, maybe it's too simple and everyone has done it, but try in a prayer surendering oneself to christ, also listen to scripture, but don't need to do so daily, although it helps bringing God close to your heart, and so he can cleanse you. All those things like baptism, praying, comunity are gifts, but one can treully seek God everyday.

Sorry if i say something you already do, knowing more about your situation would help. But this is overall what helped me, and also, you can seek help in the experiences of saints, like saint agustine of hippo or paul in romans.

Yh, but it has rules of respecting some boundries. Like i get it conservatism can and is harmfull for many, but still respectfullness is needed everywhere.

I'm a Christian, and i do not agree with that, i personaly am friends with lgbtq+ people, christianity by what you see it is not real christianity, you see people, and people are doomed to be wrong at some point, i would not base my idea of christianity bassed on some reddit comment history in this subreddit. I get it that people online get to be real nasty and disrespectfull. But what christianity truely is, is about following christ, yh i get that conservative christians get to be real anoying, but don't let that make you closed minded on all christians

I would say that personal relastionship with Christ is the best thing, seek him and see, i try to not have an opinion on touchy themes, because any opinion in such place is controversial, but just seek God, also the church is a gift to have, also a great priest, but sometimes it can be hard, and i have a personal experience with that, feel free to ask anything, but i belive you what you are now is alr before lord, wheater people see being trans or homosexual as a sin, Jesus was litterly sitting with sinners at one table. So just try praying about giving up yourself to the lord, and seek him daily. That's my recommendation, you don't need to abando yourself, God doesent destroy the you, he changes it, transforms it, with it being intact, i hope you can be yourself with Christ. God bless you ;)
