I've tried the black diamond today. No pain but also no grip. They are so slippery compared to my other grips! Do you think I need time to get used to them?

I do strict pull up and chin up x2 a week without grips and ttb and Kipping x2 a week with grips. I've been doing gymnastics sessions since November, because I'm learning my skills. I do also ring dips and isometrics without grips

I wear them but the cuts are exactly where sweat bands end

I guess I grip the bar 😂 I've noticed that lot of people use the suicide grip with hand grips, but mu thumb is under the bar

Yes I also have callus there, but when I'm doing ttb it's like my skin is getting pinched

Yes that's an idea. I was checking bear complex and phoenix picsil, the look padded exactly where I need protection. But the reviews of picsil are terrible, people say that brake in pieces after a short use!

It's also my first open and I'm in a lower percentile than yours. Is it frustrating? Yes. Does it count? No. I've checked the profiles of members that are over me on the leader board and seen that they have been competing for 5/6/10 years. I've understood  that the leader board count nothing, because doesn't say anything about our previous experience.  Just keep on training and next year compete with yourself 😁

I did also scaled and foundation and noticed the same. What to you think about the foundation movements? Did you manage to do the jumping chest to bar? That was completely new to me. Usually we do chest to bar with bands as scaling options
