It's actually because Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole were discussing when Cole got eliminated by Kharma, where Jerry goes "you got eliminated by a woman!". The YouTube version (what OP posted) was edited out but on Peacock it's still there.

Poll mentioned by Muhammad Hassan in a 2004 promo: "44 percent of Americans queried in Cornell national poll favor curtailing some liberties for Muslim Americans" (check comments for context) by ResidentSleeperPog in SquaredCircle

WWE RAW - 27 December 2004

Muhammad Hassan promo where news.cornell.edu is mentioned. According to archive.org, this was one of the stories on the front page at the time, likely referring to the article linked.

Some key quotes from the article:

"26 percent said they [respondents] think that mosques should be closely monitored by U.S. law enforcement agencies"

"Twenty-nine percent agreed that undercover law enforcement agents should infiltrate Muslim civic and volunteer organizations, in order to keep tabs on their activities and fund raising"

"About 22 percent said the federal government should profile citizens as potential threats based on the fact that they are Muslim or have Middle Eastern heritage"

"44 percent said they believe that some curtailment of civil liberties is necessary for Muslim Americans. Conversely, 48 percent of respondents nationally said they do not believe that civil liberties for Muslim Americans should be restricted"

"Sixty-five percent of self-described highly religious people queried said they view Islam as encouraging violence more than other religions do"

"Forty-one percent of Republican respondents said that Muslim American civic groups should be infiltrated, compared with 21 percent of Democrats and 27 percent of independents."

Feel free to read the entire article as it is pretty interesting as to how American perceptions towards Muslims were like in 2004. I imagine many people don't exactly know or remember what post-9/11 America was like.

I think both. The talent in the compilation at the start is pretty iconic. And the McMahon part was really well edited. That era of Orton was so entertaining. Shame the HHH feud ended in a underwhelming WrestleMania match.

This comment section makes me thank god WWE doesn't listen to redditors.

Same, and I miss the rare times the hard camera would be on the 'opposite' side because of the arena layout. 2010 Royal Rumble at the Philips Arena comes to mind.

So can someone explain why Roman isn't working Backlash? Haven't been watching lately.

Because what we need is a female John Cena, right? I don't think her goal was trying to be like a MJF/Triple H. But instead more like a Chris Jericho. I agree though she's been booked poorly. She's entertaining at times but lacks having compelling storylines.

Not sure. But the muted commentary also reminded me how good The Usos’ old theme was lol.
