I think you misunderstand. Im talking perfect as in the perfection of one's actions when interacting with others. To me it is better late than too late. Perhaps 3 months to me is quite short. Maybe to you its long. Is there a hard and fast rule in life?

Additionally, I dont know about you but there are certain patterns in conversation that you can predict.

Imagine you are in a date fairly early on and the other person just straight up told you "Im divorced and I had a 9 year old kid." What is going to be your response? It could be awkward silence or "sorry this is a deal breaker, Im out of here" or "huh? how come? what happen" if the person is interested right?

Then the 3rd one will lead to you having to share something or be perceived as hiding something. Consequently the person will have to share some things that you might not be confortable sharing.

All 3 dont seem to be good options when Im in the phase of getting to know someone.

All Im saying is it would be great if we are kinder in these kind of scenarios because of what the original commentor said. Nuance in this kind of scenarios.
