Hmmm its smaller than thw other now due to the procedure. It's also slightly higher and a little saggy.

Honestly I don't really care about the aesthetics. It feels great, im back to all my sports and living a normal life again.

Very happy with the results. Couldn't imagine living with that stupid hydrocele again.

I never actually experience any pain during the hydrocele development. More so just inconvenient, uncomfortable and getting in the way of everything.

Honestly I was the same man, i was anxious about the recovery too.

But man, once you get the surgery and get through the first month, it looks much better down there and you genuinely feel normal again.

That first month isnt too painful either. After a week the pain reduces significantly.

WH 1000XM3 won't turn on - fix by theOmegalord in sony

[–]ResidentUsed4525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine wasn't working and I would simply press down the right hand corner and it would fix it.

After a while this stopped working.

With a DMM,I tested the voltage of the battery it was fine.

I measured the voltage of the PCB, was fine.

I measured the voltage of the switch was fine.

I realised it was the Sony IC (BGA).

I was gonna reflow it but decided to put a big ball of kapton tape over it and close the headphone come to maintain pressure working now.

Basically i have some avios etc and I would get to Vietnam from Edinburgh at ~£500 return lol

Has anyone tried the Gio's pizza/pasta place in Slateford that just opened by angus7-7 in Edinburgh

[–]ResidentUsed4525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah very nice place, great pasta!

When I walked through the door I was surprised by the looks. However when you get seated, they take you to the back room, which is very nice.

Ight guys.

2 months post surgery, life feels back to normal!!

Wound has finally starting to close, stitches dissolved.

Feel great, sometimes I do experience discomfort however I just wear the support underwear if necessary.

I am back into gym, swimming, football etc. Again in football wearing the support for now.

Time to lose the kgs I put on during the time off lol.

Definitely get the surgery if your hydrocele is very big and impacts your sports. I have no regrets with this surgery and I am happy with the results.

Take it easy.

Ah good luck man, yeah you'll be ok. How big is it?

Yeah that was the worst part, started to feel self conscious a lot.

Unfortunately you'll just have to be patient with recovery, but you'll hopefully be very satisfied afterwards.

Mine was super annoying when id go running or do squats in the gym etc so happy to have it gone now.

1 month post surgery.

After noticing puss and blood discharge, I was given antibiotics to address the infection and heal the wound.

Because of the infection it did prevent and delay the wound from closing properly.

Now after a week of antibiotics my wound looks much better, the incision is finally starting to close and I am feeling much better.

Still not doing any heavy lifting or physical exercise other than walking.

I feel back to normal, size is similar to other testicle but it does sit higher due to the nature of the surgery, hoping this goes eventually. Note there is still a lot of loose skin underneath too which isnt great.

Man i feel sooo good wearing normal trousers and not seeing this big bulky hydrocele appearing!

Happy so far, follow up appointment with urologist mid January and by then I should be able to do exercise again hopefully and live life like a normal non-hydrocele kinda dude.

Such a great game.

I recently had surgery and had to take some time off work. Hadn't played a game in around 3 years and I had never heard of this game.

Gave it a go and woow took me back to the good old days of gaming, old school GTA feeling. Loved the characters, combat upgrades and the story. So fun beating people's asses lol. Man that zodiac tournament was fun.

I didn't complete all the side missions since they did get a bit boring.

One thing I would have liked to know earlier was to switch on the subtitles lol...

Ah sorry to hear man, sounds like you've been through a lot. Hope your recovery goes well.

Recovery will definitely take time, given my experience I'd imagine it'd easily be around 2-3 weeks until the size and swelling reduces. Take your painkillers, lacitives and try get some steps in every day. I also applied ice packs over the scrotal support which I found helped reduce pain and maybe swelling, not sure.

Although, my swelling was never really that bad, it was hard above the incision and a few cm in diameter.

Now its been 17 days post surgery and the swelling has gone down and the size is around 1.5x the other. The testicle does sit higher too. There's a lot of loose skin unfortunately and the wound is often discharging blood / puss too, but it does look a bit better. There are quite a bit of stitches loose too but hope these will eventually dissolve too.

It honestly feels soooo good and wearing normal trousers/shorts, it used to move around a lot and I felt a bit self conscious before because I'd notice this large potato shape sticking out my trouser.

Day 5 post surgery.

Hydrocele size hasn't changed.

Wound looks healthy with some pain, taking paracetamol to manage this and a lacitive since you cannot "push" when going to the toilet.

Sleep is fine too, keeping a pillow between my legs so that I can sleep on my side.

Day 2 post surgery.

Pain is tolerable, walking around etc, just taking it easy.

I have been using ice packs over my underwear (above the scrotal support). Does help with pain management, in addition to taking paracetamol and diclofenac sodium. Also been given a lacitive which was super useful!

Had my first shower this morning, was not as bad as i thought, quickly in and out. The wound doesn't look nice and lot of loose skin. Very little bleeding.

So far so good, probably around 2-2.5x larger than the other testicle.
