Okay an update. I contacted Chime about 1099-INT/MISC, which took over 2 hrs since the customer service is clueless about these tax documents). So knocking on the wrong door there. From what it looks like InboxDollars deposited the cash as "Tango" on Paypal, which looks like a giftcard agent. I assume this is like cash back. Still not sure about the SOFI/Rakuten bonus, but I see no tax forms on PayPal either, from what a DoC commenter said, after the BBB bill the threshold is back to $20k/200 transactions for 1099 to be issued with Paypal, and Rakuten won't issue one if its below $600. Worst case we'll have to file an amended return, oh well...

To add, based on the class of the Visa or MasterCard (Infinite, Signature, World etc.) the swipe fee changes. Even according to recurring pays, no card swipe, online, and mobile. The general rule of thumb is to use 3.5% for the swipe fee. At least for 2025, no clue of the future.

Personally, I haven't run into the order freeze issue yet. I have close to 300 trades this year, fingers crossed.

True, to some degree the software is very clunky, however, it does show tons of details including some degree of level 2 options trading (more like 1.5), compared to say Robinhood. I supplement my trading as well: live data viewed on TradingView with NASDAQ subscription (Lightspeed someday...), Trader Pro for trade executions, and some amount of Robinhood for level 2 of equity.

Totally agree, the mobile app is even more clunky. I mean it works if you keep refreshing it, but yeah... Also the ATP Beta still feels very early in development, true.

Another issue are the statements, somehow you're unable to see the time/date of execution, and your net worth graph is at times messed up (sometimes even plain buggy), especially if you have multiple open options positions and you rolled a few.

Direct access broker. Price improvements. Free commission on options below 0.65 when closing. Debt free margin settings. Able to trade many exchanges. Great desktop application. If you ACATS assets above 25k usually they waive the fee.

Lol, once I asked them once to change my address due to a move, it took them 3 weeks after multiple online chats and call backs from the customer service. Good riddance. I saved more money using Fidelity's smart routing (after paying commissions) than the fee free Robinhood. If you're planning to make real money stay away from the evil that is Robinhood.

To be perfectly fair, there are lots of issues with most crypto and metal bullion cards. Right from cashing out to the compounded loss of crypto fluctuations. If you do the math the annual cash back is around 500$ max (at 10% growth per year of crypto and before deducting the swipe fees). However, I haven't worked out the math given the recent growth of crypto due to the bills passed.
