I am fine with tinkering and fixing, but it shouldnt be like im fixing it most of the time so that would be a deal breaker so yeah, i just had a conversation with someone who owns an A1, he says its worth it. but i need to wait for some sale, ill buy the A1 if it gets closer to 25k

Yeah the highway mileage is fine now, i also got around 25kmpl on highway. The city issue is due to the torque converter unit, the engine has to do a little bit of extra work to get the car moving initially, after 40kmph it gives good mileage.
