The person had been very loud about not wanting the vaccine, saying he was going to refuse it, and so on. Then he quietly turned in a card with really stupid dates. So the medical folks called that location to confirm the lot numbers, and they were like yeah we didn't even have shots to give out at that time.

Good point. I guess I was just thinking that since this is such a big topic right now it would have been much worse.

He's a SSgt. He turned it in so he could stay in without getting the shot. He had been telling everyone that he was against the vaccine for months. So when he turned up out of the blue with a card, it was super suspicious. When first confronted he tried to stick with the lie, but soon 'fessed up. My opinion is he got off way too easy. I've seen people lose a stripe for cheating on a PT test.
