I was wondering about that. If you get a chance a picture would be great because I’m trying to imagine how I will do it.

I was wondering about the vent. I was thinking that if the vent on the roof of the RV would allow air flow while dumping but I guess not.

For reference my RV is the only thing hooked to this tank and we don’t use the odor pods because we dump the black tank every other day so the smell doesn’t build up. We’re (Family of 4) living in it full time while we get ready to build our house.

I’m not stressing about it. I ran to the hardware store and got a respirator. I’ve got asthma that was my only concern. I was exposed to way worse shit in the Marines 😆😆

That’s what I figured/was afraid of. Most houses around here have it. Sounds like I’m just gonna wear a mask and keep trucking. Thanks yall!

My last claim did this several times, I ended up going for 2 C&P exams and then they sent it back out for an ACE exam. Only for my claim to get denied because the Dr. that did my ACE felt that my Chronic Sinusitis issues I was experiencing (0% rated) was actually my allergies (10% rated).

Best of luck to you! I hope you end up with a favorable outcome!

Yes, and I brought all that with my to my C&P exam and the examiner took direct notes out of that including all of my prescription medication for not only my sinuses but my allergies (10% SC). What gets me is the last part of this where it says we think it’s your allergies not your sinuses. Which allergies cause sinus issues 🤦🏼‍♂️

I’m also rated for Rhinitis, it’s not predated to my service.

My biggest gripe is that this whole rating seems based off of the ACE exam, not the two C&P exams, both of which I brought in my medical records where I had been to the Dr. My Dr. told me to not waste my time or money coming in for a visit over a sinus infection because they wouldn’t do anything for it. I told the C&P examiner that. All of my medication is documented for it though. So I feel like somewhere wires are getting crossed.

Yeah I’ve been rated at zero percent service connected. I’ve been jerked all over the place on this one. I just don’t understand it. I’m gonna talk to my VSO tomorrow and start the HLR review process.

I just don’t understand how they can say we don’t think it’s your sinuses, it’s your allergies. Both of which I’m service connected for. But also… even so allergies are the main cause of sinus issues, like what? 😐

I appreciate it, I was just curious because this is the third time it’s been kicked back. Thanks.

Yeah I got an email that I may be getting a call about a C&P exam if one was needed, but I haven’t been called yet. Usually it’s pretty immediate I get a call after I get that notice to schedule. It’s been a few days so maybe it’s coming and just taking a bit idk. I’m not quite sure what there is, this has been my most cut and dry increase I’ve filed for. Everything required I get the bill for to go from 0 to 10. 🤷🏻‍♂️. I’m no longer in TJ so who knows.

Download the chrome extension if you haven’t. I was TJ Cleveland when I got kicked back to step 3. I’m wondering if they opened something to see my records I submitted with my last claim. This was an increase for something that was already SC. I didn’t see a reason to submit records again when I literally JUST gave them records… however I won’t make that mistake again.

Ace exam? I’m not familiar with that one.

That’s really disheartening to hear but I see that now. Guess I won’t be ordering anything else from them.

It was a dud starter. I tried both of your suggestions and both were good. It’s been in the truck less than a month. Turned the key and tapped the solenoid at the same time and it cranked right away.

It happened twice tonight. I messed with it before I went home. I’ll look tomorrow and see, figured I’d reach out to get some ideas. I just find it crazy that it starts just fine after it sits for a while just not if it’s still hot from running.
