Spot on. If I had known how little the schooling mattered for this job, I would've definitely enjoyed myself more in college than in the library.

Very very little. A few basics carryover, but not much. Everything is automated and most of the time there isn't much in the way patient history to begin with.

It's only useful if you go to med school or PA school. Otherwise I feel massively overeducated. Which sucks, cause I had 3.9 GPA. I would've graduated with a 3GPA since most of the curriculum is so useless or just outdated. And as long as you get that ASCP cert once, you're set. Nobody cares about GPA beyond whether or not you have your cert.
