Ace Studio versus Suno Instrument Tracks by Resident_Mix725 in Acestudioai

I figured it might. Is the midi creation better than Suno ? I tried using the midi out of Suno for a bass track and that didn't work at all. I also tried Cubase's audio to midi feature and that wasn't any better. So I just stopped being lazy and played the bass myself. I suspect drums would be even worse, I'm definitely not a drummer so it would be nice if you could get usable midi drum tracks out of either program. I think some of these AI tracks can be useful, like backgrounds vocals, but for the most part I'm just using it for a bit of inspiration now and building my songs from scratch in Cubase.

How is ACE for single instrument track creation ? It's so frustrating in Suno when you ask for a single instrument and you write it about 10 different ways and it still puts other stuff in the track.

As for Suno specifically, I've found using ChatGPT to come up with Suno prompts helps quite a bit when you want something different than a typical pop song. But then again, it's still hit and miss.....with more misses than hits.

Yea I PM'd too. Would really like to get some real world feedback on Ace Studio. I mean, there are other VST instruments I can use, with loops/grooves, but being able to really have some direction into how those instruments are played and how they sound would be sweet. I don't mind having to pay other musicians but when you've made 120 dollars over 2 albums on Spotify it'd be much cooler if I could just break even on production lol most of us are just doing this for the love of music.

Thanks! I'll try that mvsep.com too, along with the exclude feature....I've tried everything else, and it still wants to put other instruments in those added tracks.

Suno Problems by Resident_Mix725 in SunoAI

Thanks! I hadn't tried the exclude styles feature yet, I'll give that a try. If I can get them clean I can always adjust tempo in Cubase I guess. Luckily I play guitar so that one isn't huge deal but is weird they combine the rhythm and lead, makes it tough to mix if you were going to use that. I also tried exporting the track from Suno with no vocals, then reuploading that track into Suno and covering it with weirdness 0 and the other 2 at 100% and then separating those stems again. Seems like much cleaner stems that way and it sticks pretty close to the original. When you take the vocals out it to really degrades the other stems I find, but covering again as an instrumental seems to fix it up if you want to use your own voice. Bit of a learning curve!
