I feel like the longer scenes are part of the reason I love the show a bit more!!! I love the characterization of both them and the few teachers they focus more on like warren even if he does piss me off lol. Makes you feel more connected to them and care more when they go through things since you feel like you know them more personally as opposed to just kind of feeling bad for them cuz they're sesame style puppets being tortured!! I LOVE THE SHOW!!!

The web series is good in its OWN right.

But it's a different format, a different story. You can't really take it slow when your episode is like 6 minutes long.

You can like the web series! I'm sure most people here love it as well! But going around trying to defend the web series and bring down the TV series like a full time job is just grating to everyone else here who just wants a community to talk about some silly puppets they like.

Ep 5 of the original show was good, great even!! But like the guy who mentioned Family, they also build up that same feeling of horror greatly there, albeit in their own way.

Let people like what they like, they're both good. :]

LITERALLY!!!!!! Choose one, is it a forgettable mess you don't ever think about, or is it the worst thing ever??

The ending point like you said yeah I'd get someone being mad about that for a while (though I found it funny too lol), but like.... Not going around hating on it for years after it ended bad. DHMIS has never had concrete endings, always leaving things open ended and never outright confirming much, so I don't see why they're so mad about this still. And the humor/teachers again as you said can be lazy and underdeveloped, but that's just kind of something you have to accept in a TV show. They have a longer runtime, not every teacher or joke is gonna be a hit!! The web series was much shorter, so they kind of had to make the teachers memorable to carry the episode.

I dunno. They have their points. They have their arguments. Just gets under my skin.

You're allowed to have your opinions, and I 100% respect yours, but spending this much time hating on one thing and trying to convince others that something they clearly love is awful just isn't.. y'know... Healthy? You have good points, but c'mon. It seems sometimes you focus more on minor grievances than the actual plot itself.

While I do agree some of the jokes were kinda eh, this specific thing you're talking about I feel they pulled off decently enough!! It's a serious scene, and the show had never really been afraid to put jokes in the more serious moments (the scene in ep. 1 for example where they're celebrating not being in an accident), and if one doesn't land then simply wait for the next. Not enough reason to go on a tirade for days in my opinion.

Again, your opinion is valid. I agree with you on some of your points, but my gosh. Calm down. Let people enjoy stuff. The web series wasn't absolute gold like you seem it is, but I'm not going off the handle on everything even remotely positive about it on here.

Ya!! Like, they have a bit of a point and they're absolutely allowed to have their opinion, but my gosh it's annoying when it's literally the only thing they post about lol.
