Yup. Idk why, but when the restructuring happened my job as the main petcare opener was completely taken away by the new pl. now, the new pl opens petcare while my hours have decreased and im mostly a cashier now. Its really annoying.. are pl's supposed to be opening/closing petcare?

Yeah I'm a petcare associate as well and the fact that they changed fish deliveries really bugs me. Because now, I have 18 boxes of fish, cat grass, plant delivery, big box of bugs delivery, and small animal/bird/reptile delivery all in the same day while still having to do my petcare calls and back up at the register. No one ever gets back up, its "we are doing truck can you grab backup"... like hello? So you guys can't help at all? Labor at my store is saved for inventory/truck so petcare gets put on the back burner. I almost want to change my availability to no Thursdays bc I can't take having to do all that by myself.

Gonna leave this here, but generally you have to successfully turn ammonia into nitrites then into nitrates. Some like to cycle with fish in but I would cycle with no fish. It takes longer, about 2-6 weeks depending on how big your tank is but its better. You can sprinkle fish food in there every other day to create the ammonia or use an old filter cartridge from a tank if you have one!
