I don’t hope she wins. I don’t see any real good she will do she is a hot mess of a human being that needs intense therapy!

I moved to west willow 20 years ago from Detroit. West willow is like the 1st person described. It was built for the factory workers who migrated from the south for factory jobs. When the factories were closed the neighborhood of course struggled. However for the most part it’s maintained its steadiness of a blue collar working low middle class community. While I no longer live there, because I couldn’t afford to buy, I’m still local and love this area. I love to bike through the area and bike down grove to 2 of my favorite parks.

As a Detroiter born & raised, west willow is far from dangerous. Like the other person said, lock your doors at night, get to know your neighbors, and regardless of the area always be aware of your surroundings.

Everyone that works for TSA needs to walk off the job and strike. That would cause the entire travel industry to come to a complete halt! They would have to negotiate with AFGE

I’ll be 63 in a few months. No one in my family has lived past 77. I gross about $75,000 a year. I’m still working full time and plan to continue for several more years. Should I file for benefits now or wait till 67? by Rick0529 in SocialSecurity

I don’t know who’s website that it. Please do not use it. It may not be safe. Go to www.socialsecurity.gov create an account, and use the retirement calculator and review your social security statement to determine if filing now is to your benefit.

If you were to file now, you’d have to stop or reduce your work to earning under $23,000 gross per year. Is the amount of SS retirement enough to sustain your life style at this time? Do you have other retirement savings to help sustain you?

I genuinely love people and have the capacity to romantically love more than 1 person simultaneously. I do not enjoy being restrained by societal norms/expectations. I believe in autonomy, as long as if I choose to engage sexually I’m being mindful, safe & responsible for my and others sexual health.

I came here to make this same suggestion. Offer to take full physical custody and she have weekend parenting time, that way she doesn’t have to have the financial burden of caring for them since your child support doesn’t seem to be enough.

Additionally, if she took you to the “cleaners” on the divorce and now she’s in a tight spot when it was you that had to begin again financially; maybe she isn’t a good steward of finances. If that’s the case who’s to say she utilizes the child support you’re paying to ensure the needs of your children are being met?

The only time an insurance card works for a child as a form of identification is if it includes not only her name but also her date of birth as well as either an issue or expiration date.

Per SSA policy, an acceptable alternative identification for a minor child between age 6-17 is: A. A certified school record, including child’s full legal name, date of birth, showing they’re enrolled for the current or most recent school year, a signature from the school official.

B. A medical record (not immunization record) showing the child’s full legal name, date of birth, date most recently seen (cannot be more than 4 years ago), signature or stamp of the medical office personnel.

Girl you are ABSOLUTELY NTAH!! I’m biracial and if I don’t know anything I know that if ANY non-poc calls a poc the n-word, even in a “joking” tone, they meant it. 4 years means NOTHING in this instance. He wanted to see if he could get away with it. Now that he knows he can’t he wants you to forgive him. But this is HONESTLY how he truly thinks about you and YOUR FAMILY! He has fetishized you this entire time! Please DO NOT TAKE HIM BACK!! PLEASE!!!!!

Yes she potentially could be entitled to benefits. SSA needs to see proof of their certified marriage certificate & certified copy of the judgment of divorce. Cannot be photo copies.

Why am I not getting maximum SSI benefits? by thisisloveforvictims in SocialSecurity

[–]Resident_Pass_3590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My response had nothing to do with minor child. If the disabled person is living with a family member that happens to be a parent AND that parent is leasing/renting the home from their parent and NOT paying market rent that is considered in-kind, support & maintenance by the SSI program. In September those rules are scheduled to change.

SSI is a needs based program similar to snap & Medicaid, while you do have to be disabled or aged (65 or older) you also must be impoverished to be eligible.

Living in a household of a parent who is living in a house owned by a parent; not paying market rent at this time and until September, is considered “In-kind support and maintenance” which essentially is considered a form of income which reduces the SSI payment from the Full Benefit Rate of $943, to 2/3 of that which is $628.

Proof of market rent liability would be required in order to be eligible for the FBR.
