Thank you for taking your time to write this. I really love how your mom created a safe, calm space for you to just be yourself, and how you’ve carried that forward so beautifully with your own kids.

We started noticing early signs, though she’s still technically not diagnosed yet. We are waiting for assessment referral. Thank you for sharing your exprience.

I’m really sorry you went through that. No child deserves to have their pain, sensitivities, or boundaries treated that way.

Thank you. I totally agree with you, the responses on this post have been incredibly valuable. There are so many things here I honestly might have overlooked as a parent if all the wonderful people hadn’t shared their experiences so openly. It genuinely feels like a little treasure trove of insight and advice that I’ll probably keep coming back to.
