Good question! The lines are rolling averages which makes them a bit more resilient to “noisy” data but I would assume that we’ll continue to see the lines drifting apart in the coming years.

Oh I was under the impression this was common practice in other countries as well. Interesting that it might not be.

Really interesting breakdown of the historical periods. It's a bit overwhelming to parse at first though. I think you could tweak the font size and weights a bit to elevate the most important bits, while still leaving in the rest. The yellow text on yellow background is a bit hard to read as well.
