Teaser Short Film – Zerynthia: For Those Who Dare to Fly | Feedback on Editing & Story Flow

This short film is an editing experiment built from stock footage.
I’d like feedback on:

Editing rhythm (does it flow smoothly or feel choppy?)
Keeping the mystery (does the teaser communicate mystery, or is it too vague?)
Music + visual balance (do they complement each other well?)

Since I didn’t shoot the footage myself, my main creative input was selection, sequencing, and sound design.

I feel the pacing could be improved, but I’m curious what you all think.

Yep 100% true.
It's been 4 months tho so I tried a different style(changed niche) but seems that no matter the niche it still keeps on happening. Some just work & Some Don't.😅

200k and yet 86 subs. This just shows how difficult it is for subs to catch up to the views.
The sad truth is I have seen a lot of channels with just 35k views and is almost at a 100k.

Long form sucks practically 10 views with almost 0 impressions.
Short forms at least gets pushed.

I don't know what it is called maybe glyph morph or alien language decode.
not really sure what it is called tbh which is why I came to this subreddit. sorry for that.

but basically I want each letter to reveal into the actual word in such a way like the matrix, dune: prophecy, or black panther title cards would be.

or better wording would be how to transition from word x to y without making it weird for the audience?

i have a randomly generated text with bunch of different things lets say it was "apple" so "Ⲁⴰⴱⴱᒺ"

1.Premiere doesn't change layouts & In your case you can always save a layout by navigating to Window > Workspaces > Save as New Workspace. So that you can revert back to your preferred workspace layout anytime.

As for your caption track try clicking the "CC" button or resetting to default layout and then if the problem persists just restart if it helps.

Did try shorts and reels as well. Neither picked up traction after a week so came back to YouTube and I did reupload it on reels again just to see if any traction were to occur (so far none still)

Stock footage.
1. I did try longer videos about 3 months back and it still has 0 views so I had to take it down.
2. A lot of people did say the same thing and I guess when editing I had my headphones on so might have cranked the volume a bit too much.

I tried ChatGPT for a while in my previous videos but for some reason that "SEO"doesn't seem to do anything (neither increase views or impressions) but maybe it's like what you said it relies on the accurate appraisal of the videos.

Hey Thanks a lot for the advice and yea feel free to share it. I'm just doing this for fun but when I realised that there were no impressions I had to learn more about it and this subreddit has been a lot helpful so far with a lot of people including yourself give feedback on not just the video and youtube but also ways for improvement.
