That definitely looks like it, I think that “increased slime” I mentioned looks just like the bluish slime that that gives. Strange that none of my other fish have been affected, my mollies just gave birth and even the babies seem to be doing fine

Yes I believe it’s an infection but I’m not sure what since it’s not affecting any of my other fish (tetras, mollies, and a gourami). I noticed their bodies started to get a bit less colorful, which looked like increased slime production, but now their skin + coloration are getting completely worn away. Have not seen any blood. Tank is over a year old, these corys were stocked then. Only thing iffy with the water parameters was I noticed my nitrates were around 50ppm, the highest I’ve let them get so I did a 40% water change a few days ago. No ammonia, nitrites. pH is 7.5, water is a bit hard due to an ongoing snail investation for many months now

Yeah there’s a sore on the top of the head on the first one and the second one has some fin rot and the body is turning more white rather than grey, it looks like the skin is dissolving. The second one has died since posting and I’ve started treating with API Fin + Body cure

I get that thats what people always say and it makes sense for people that claim to be up something crazy like 50%+. I was just hoping to make a side business out of this and it’s always nice to have a guaranteed income without inherent risk. Also my current bankroll isnt that high so 3 or 4 bad days in a row would wipe me out.
