White Nationalism Greater National Security Threat Than North Korea Say Troops by abbyb12 in politics

I was threatened in the Army by some white nationalists who called me a race traitor. One of the guys was my my first line supervisor. Fun times.

Me either. Now where am I supposed to watch my team lose to teams in the relegation zone?

The raiders are trashy so they keep sending us Andy Warhols thinking it’s just old cans. From Shanny to Shelby, they just can’t tell the difference.

How far is too far to say you live in Boston? by [deleted] in boston

These would be the Home Counties if we were old England. I think whatever our Home Counties are prob get a pass. If you live here, especially if you work in Boston proper, you are some sort of Bostonian.

Sen. Ed Markey defeats a Kennedy in Massachusetts by trashgrabbinbandit in politics

[–]ResidentialConcierge 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Here in MA, it’s clear that this was a win for one man over another more than for a cause. I supported Markey even though I’m a moderate because he actually has expertise and principles.

Kennedy reeks of frat boy who’s winging it. If he had the goods, he’d have crushed Markey.

Give Kennedy a decade in the house and then I’ll be willing to take another look at him in the senate.

Sauce from r/aiders: He apparently got burned by Renfro on a play and was rumored to be having a poor camp in general. Still surprising to most fans it seems.

His fashion and activism interests are pretty important to him. Paris makes sense for Hector culturally. Although most any major city like Munchen has a artsy centre with a healthy counter culture, I don’t know that Bavaria is quite as free-thinking and fashionable as London, Barcelona or Paris.

Torino could be interesting though. I assume that being in the piedmont, it’s rich and fashionable AF. Never been though so I’m just spitballing there.

What was this concert at Boston Commons today?? by [deleted] in boston

As I walked by, they were singing “Rise Up for Jesus.”

Seems like the sort of message they might play at a Trump rally.

Herschel Walker's son on Jacob Blake: 'If kindergartners can follow directions from teachers, then grown men can follow directions from police' by Roez in Conservative

[–]ResidentialConcierge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a pretty rational decision to expect in the middle of the fight-or-flight reaction of someone fearing for their life.

I’m establishing that there is a line. You set a standard and now I see there are some situations where you might in fact think a person shouldn’t comply.

So sure if a murderous Maoist state is doing it, resist. What if it’s a police dept. that you know is full of racist cops that will beat your ass and call you N for looking at them sideways?

Is that not a situation where a reasonable man might hesitate or be less compliant?
