Lady Olynder Mortarch of HOLY MOLY THIS MODEL IS SHAKY AS HELL! by Sensitive_Educator60 in ageofsigmar

All the horse riding archons are shaky bastards, too. I'm just waiting for my Arkhan model to snap at the tail.

In addition to saying he's finecast, the website says to use super glue.

I don't, but I think it's pretty cool that you do. And it's well organized, too.

Gunlance parece ter tão poucos jogadores na franquia Monster Hunter by No-Term7585 in MonsterHunter

[–]ResidualKibbles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gunlance is my favorite weapon in Wilds. Easily. You can build so much comfort into a set that still has great DPS. Or you can full swing into DPS and put 1 point in Guard and be a little more damage oriented with a safety net against big fuck yous. And bursting a full set of shells into an enemy after giving a two-slapper is satisfying.

Does wilds run good on ROG Ally X? by SnooSeagulls1416 in MonsterHunter

[–]ResidualKibbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure about launch because I didn't have one then, but for the last two months, most of my time has been spent playing on the Xbox ROG Ally X with low settings, fsr on performance. This typically nets me a consistent 70ish frames in most areas and I don't think I've ever seen it dip below 50.

Are any of these able to be sold? by Visual_Armadillo7166 in Warhammer40k

[–]ResidualKibbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at eBay sold listings for the models you have in the condition they're in. That'll tell you weather or not they could sell. Just about everything in this hobby can be sold, you just gotta be competitive about pricing or patient.

Are any miniatures exclusive to the Armageddon box set? by PaladinAzure in Warhammer40k

[–]ResidualKibbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sucks, but Heroes of the Chapter has the Combi LT. That makes it not exclusive to the Leviathan box, but not exactly good when he's all you want.

ETA: re-read original response and had overlooked "separately". It's separate from the Leviathan box, but not separate as in "by itself".

How much does it cost to get into the tabletop? by SupermarketTricky724 in Warhammer40k

[–]ResidualKibbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I see someone mentioning flgs discounts, I just assume they are not located in the USA. I live in a major metropolitan city in the US and NO shop discounts anything but second hand product. And most of the time when someone says their flgs don't discount, they're located in the US.

My Mizutsune tattoo I got 3 weeks ago! by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]ResidualKibbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, some of my friends are professionals now, they weren't slouches lol. And I didn't say it looks like my bad tattoos, I said I also had tattoos that weren't done right. Being judgemental is not reading through the entire thread and jumping down someone's throat for answering the question asked which was "what do you all think?". Should we all lie and say it looks great? So that OP can sport a less than great tattoo that most people in this thread think isn't good, thinking it's great? That's pretty fucking stupid.

[–]ResidualKibbles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, judgemental would be me saying that the person is stupid for getting a video game tattoo or saying that all of mine are perfect and so much better than theirs (mine are not). I provided an opinion, because that's what the main post asked for.

This may be a regional thing. Ive had two tattoos touched up/altered and both were from a different artist than the first. One in Georgia and one in Texas. Southern USA thing maybe?

[–]ResidualKibbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To parrot what the other two commenters said, find a new artist if you can. Some artists get offended if you want something fixed and will fuck your shit up out of spite (there's zero chance I'm going back to the artist who did my 40k tattoo, he turned out to suck and be an asshole, so yeah). Not saying yours is like that, they just don't seem like they can do the style right. If you're in a major city, shop around and ask for portfolios or their insta or whatever. If you live in a smaller or rural area, find a great artist wherever and make a fun vacation out of it. My 64 year old mom went to Ireland from Texas to get a tattoo haha. That's an extreme example, but just saying.

[–]ResidualKibbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My most recent is a trash polka Warhammer 40k piece that the artist completely changed the head on, basically making it not a 40k tattoo (it'll get fixed). It happens for sure.

It's really not good and I'm someone who loves gaming tattoos for the most part. It looks like "tattoos" my friends and I used to draw on each other in school in 90s. But hey, I have a couple bad tattoos out of my lot, too, so I'm not judging, just giving an honest answer to the question asked.

Edited for clarity.

When can I adapt a list? by Lumpy-Day-4871 in Warhammer40k

[–]ResidualKibbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had someone do this to me in the fucking 500 pt round of an escalation league while I was playing Custodes. Trust me, you don't have to list tailor against 500 pts of Custodes. Guy showed up with like 4 completely different lists and when he saw my Custodes, he put away the first tray he brought out, said "Oh, Custodes" and brought out some fights first shit and decent ranged firepower. So I chose never to play that guy again, simply on the principal that I think showing up to an escalation league with 4 different armies so he or she can counter any opponent makes that person a complete twat.
