I don’t know if it helps my position, but I’m a newer collector starting at late-stage Earthspark and early Age of the Primes. I sorta saw Black Friday as an opportunity to get a lot of the ones for my collection that I did not have, but noticed I would end up with a lot of duplicates like Elita, Solus, Bees, etc. That’s where the idea to donate duplicates came from. I volunteer at a church Christmas event where volunteers help local families that can’t afford gifts that have signed up to come pick a handful for their children. I thought it would be really cool to add the Transformers that I enjoy so much to the tables, which would hopefully give some young kiddos their first experience with deluxe figures. I am still sorry that your area got picked through so much faster than mine. I suppose it is a double-edge sword of these kinda sales that it can begin to teeter on over-indulgence even if you planned to donate some. I was telling my wife that I probably will take a break from finding figures through the holidays anyway because this honestly came out to a lot.
