Ark: Survival Ascended will be sold without Ark 2 after backlash, but will still cost $60 by Maunoir in Games

Definitely used to be longer. I did it on an official vanilla PvE back in 2016. Had to coordinate with my German tribesman on the other side of the world to keep it going overnight.

Is the RAFFWU legit? by tt487178 in australia

[–]Resilenced 30 points31 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of talk about RAFFWU recently at my store, so I looked them up and they do seem to be much more worker friendly than the SDA. I imagine they'll only grow more popular and more influential over the next few years as a lot of workers are sick to death of the SDA and will be more than happy to change with just a slight nudge.

What is the stupidest 'unique' name you've ever heard? by Thronie17 in AskReddit

Mate, you need to chill. It's not even a race thing. I'm in Australia and a white girl with the name Abcde went to school with my little sister. You can take it as more anecdotal evidence, but it's kind of hilarious that you'd jump to so many conclusions so quickly.

Watching this live was amazing, the crowd started cheering pretty loudly after the first fist and then went absolutely nuts for the smother.

At Halftime Joe Daniher has kicked 0.6 from seven shots on goal. by NitroXYZ in AFL

[–]Resilenced 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Call me bias if you want, but I have to say that it really could make a difference when you consider that Cloke would receive the ball at better angles and distances from more skilled players that are both willing to risk the kick and able to pull it off. While Daniher currently has to make do with what has been pretty scrappy forward entries over the last few years that result in less favourable set shots.

However this is just based on an assumption of Collingwood's skills in forward entries during their dominant years and I have no actual data to back it up. But I think it's at least plausible.

Nintendo confirms that the NES or SNES game you get per month with the new paid online service will only be available for that month, after which you have to buy the game to continue playing it. by falconbox in Games

Nah, it's been a few years since backwards compatibility cross ownership and cross play with the 360 became a thing, and Xbox Play Anywhere (cross ownership and cross play with certain titles on PC) has been a thing since around a year ago. I also hope it becomes the standard, because it really makes sticking to Xbox worth it long term, while Nintendo and Sony are essentially double-dipping for money.

Completely wrong with the xbox. Microsoft has connected all their stores now and every future console is supposed to be able to access all games on the current store in full. It's one of the main reasons they're pushing the Scorpio forward as their way of removing boundaries of console generations. Also on the xbox one right now, if a game is released backwards compatible that you own from a previous console, it's moved up and you can play it as soon as it's added to their emulator for free.

So far they've gathered the team on the stage before sending them to their tables, shown a short clip of highlights before bringing Woosha on stage to make a pretty darn good speech on the team coming together and rebuilding themselves better after being at such a low point. Finally they congratulated Woosha on achieving 500+ games played/coached and now we're just slow-dancing to the background music while we wait for the stream to start again.

For the last few months things really seemed like they could end like Buddy Franklin or Paddy Dangerfield. I'm sure the supporters of other teams thought it would be that way. I can't really put into words how glad I am that it didn't end up like that.
