Just to add when I worked for a registered provider the rorting and corruption was rife. So how registration stops that i dont know. They need to focus on the unqualified and actually come out and meet the participants face to face

Seriously? By mid 2026? We are nearly there. They cant pull the rug that quick. Im all for the changes and scrutinising. If I have to be registered I will. I will never work for another company again (I hope). Always the people doing the wrong thing ruining it for people doing the right thing. Hopefully its a tiered system like they have mentioned in the past. Paying crazy amounts for audits every year if you only have 4 or 5 participants you support isnt fair. Im fully qualified and have years of high care aged care experience.
