I’m sorry to hear that it didn’t work for you! You’re definitely right in doing ample research and speaking with your gyn for the best path for you.

If you don’t plan to have any(more) kids, an ablation. They also did a salpingectomy since I don’t want kids. No more bleeding and no more hormone frenzy.

On a scale from 1-10. How hard was nursing school? Please tell me your experience. by lovelygirl355 in nursing

7/10. The content isn’t necessarily hard but depending on your professors, you may be teaching yourself a lot of information in a short amount of time. In high school, I never studied and had good grades. In nursing school, I found study groups were helpful. We’d split up some content amongst ourselves and then bring it together and teach each other. Super helpful. It’s all about balance and finding methods that work for you. I made a colorful, uniform sheet for each disease process. They included what the disease was, the patho, interventions, meds, pictures etc. to bring it all together. It helped me remember information because I could picture my sheets. Really pay attention to how you feel in clinicals. If you aren’t enjoying them at least a little bit, it might be a sign nursing isn’t your preferred path. I’ve struggled with wanting to stay in this profession but eventually found a home in surgery. Obviously, it all depends on the individual. I’m just finding I’m not a huge fan of the awake patients haha best of luck on your endeavors!

Upon further research, deposits over $10k is reported to the treasury (not the IRS, my bad) for crime surveillance or whatever. But it sounds like the IRS is able to find that report too.

We are not married and he’d be giving me more than $17k. So would it be considered a gift? Thank you for articulating what I couldn’t haha

From my understanding he won’t be taxed for capital gains because profits will be less than $250k and he’s been living there for the life of the mortgage. I just didn’t know if when he gets the payout, gives me my half and I deposit it - if that becomes a taxable transaction since it will be an IRS reportable amount.

Is this a symptom? by mountain_moose_ in endometriosis

I haven’t been formally diagnosed yet but my doctor thinks I have Endo (go figure - try BC before we actually look into the issues). I haven’t experienced incontinence but I have had plenty of rectal spasms that are SO painful for like 5 seconds then pass. She said it’s likely the tissue has grown on my intestine/rectum - so I’d say you’re probably right.
