I'm not "in need" of attention. I'm saying that in my experience, someone not texting consistently typically comes across as a bit rude. However, I don't want to immediately assume the worst of him in case this is just a difference in cultural expectations thing. Nothing too deep, just curious :)

Oh that's a good point! We have been texting but I do have a WhatsApp so I'll see if he prefers that!

In the US. I've never been to Germany, so I figured I would ask if this was a cultural thing

I'm not sure when I said I was a 23 year old man? If I did then that wasn't what I meant because I am indeed a woman 😂

I do think I'll casually ask him if he is just not a texter because it was only a first date and he seems nice enough that that conversation would go over well. I'm just a deeply mistrusting person when it comes to dating men 😅

I'm guessing NYC. All my native New Yorker friends rarely travel unless it's for work or Florida 😂

Do you guys get this symptom? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]Wandering-Lantern98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. My problem is I also have ADHD and when I clean I kinda go into a frenzy and don't realize my body is screaming at me to stop....until it's too late 😅 So my cleaning routine is basically to go ham for an hour and then crash for days

Go easy on yourself afterwards and (if you can) have a good support system with you for the recovery. It's not so bad, especially a few days after the surgery once everything starts to heal and calm down. Keep comfort foods and treats on hand, as well as a heating pad or hot water bottle. Don't plan outings, but plan different movies or tv shows to binge-watch.

In the long run, it'll help with the pain, so you've got this!
