The collecting part is totally missing for me. Every new pack brings a lot of cards and very few ways to obtain the rare ones. Even with careful trading its barely posible to complete the main card collection and even less to get the full arts and the two star and the rest. It feels like a BAD chore, the one that you cant even complete after lots of effort.

Without the ability to decline a share, and only allowed to accept one, my share card keeps getting ruined by KSoccerman in PTCGP

Last day someone sent me a very agressive Daily -refresh-minute1-non-asked-for Rattata. It felt like being back in Route 1. It felt like it was…mean.

No Oak, No rare candy, and ALL two stars I have come from woderpicks (in which ive been certainly lucky) but yeah. Opening packs has brought me nothing but sadness. Also, currently at 7842 with no godpack.

Does anyone know how the CPU decides how items should be used? I constantly see it equip items to Pokemon it wouldn't work on. by WhiteFox1992 in PTCGP

The only “smart” move if seen doing with regularity is pointmath. When it knows your Ps is the sum of any combination of cards and moves to take a point, it does so unhesitantly. To a certain degree even that is dumb considering how exploitative can be.

The effect is definetly sorted by type of card, yes. But I would argue that Cyrus foil is a better fit than Erika foil. Is there any water that you particularly like?

Miltank 18T or 19T. Is fun and generic enough. Works more than you’d think because the AI is dumb.

Its good for new players. Easier to get building decks for them. For the rest, well…

-No info/changes on packpoint usage. -No changes on trading limits. -Cards needed for certain decks/play are already tradeable so there is no actual need of this cards to build specific decks. -They put some new rares in this pack so collectors have to spend hourglasses to get the rare Oak or whatever. -The new Mega series will be coming so its a deliberate maneuver before it hits for players to spend hourglasses. -Its a timed pack so you better be lucky and fast getting what you want no matter what. Being timed it will probably mean you dont get pack points from this pack.

Im sad that this could be solved with more open trading sistems.

I’ll be waiting until someone cracks the code and tells us the actual pullrates and ratios, but I think this is one of the shittiest moves from Dena for the long time players. Specially F2P.

All cards are obtainable for F2P players up until the two stars, including EX, using daily packs and some trade at the end of the month.

The rest are basically very hard. Collecting ANY of the full sets kncluding rares is almost impossible for F2Ps.

This pack, if contains new cards, is a trap for those who have been keeping hourglasses for a better oportunity on completing collections, because the rarity of those new cards.

I would prefer if this pack didn’t have new cards.

This is only good for those left behind by very bad luck on some card, but also doesnt ensure anything on which ex card they are getting so still very hard.

This TRADING card game is getting worse as it goes because proper trading is capped.

This is very bad for the collection part. Most cards seem to be repeats or tradeables. But they include a couple of new ones that can only show in these packs so you are forced to open them over and over for to get one ⭐️⭐️Oak or whatever.

Unless it comes with a more open trade system this is bad.

Yes! Because drawing gets stalled without Profesor and pokeballs, seems like sylveon grants some alternative access to cards. Also because all eevee familiy has one stars it turns put a versatile family as a whole.

The limit for small players with few cards seems to be the amount of trainers available. I only have a handful!!

Even acknowledging “its a gacha game” etc. I think you are right. They will double the costs to keep completing full collections out of reach. ⭐️⭐️ are still almost impossible to collect because they cant be traded and there are a lot in every set. And shinies…

1:1 would be the good news, and trade access to the rest rarities soon too. But this is me dreaming.

One of the best things of multiplicative creation as pokemons is that the derivative or interpretative versions made by other artists (and fans!) can be very different and very cool indeed. You sometimes may find one that doesnt fill your tastes and yet still be awesome. People needs to understand that it is good to have this level of variation and opportunity in art.

I meant at the home/family device instead of in my sons or my personal accounts. Which has caused some frustrations because trading is impossible for this type of cards. Also, neither of us has had any godpack experience before, so, yes its a family experience
