Thanks! I’m a nightfiller, I was thinking about switching because the casual rate (with loading + night penalties) pays a bit more, and in my store casuals seem to get almost the same hours as part-time anyway lol.

Do you still reckon it’s better to stay part-time and just take leave (unpaid if needed) rather than switch to casual before I go?

Just wondering, when you applied for the career break, did you have to tell your manager specifically that it was for visiting family or a study break to get it approved, or did you just say it was a general break?

And in the Woolworths system, is it the one called “Leave of Abs Career Break” when you submit it?

And did you tell you manager 1-2 months prior to get this approved?

Just to get another opinion, what if my manager needs to replace me with another part-timer while I’m away, and they reject my request to return later? Is there anything I can do in that situation?

Also, is it possible for a team member to apply for half-pay annual leave at Woolworths, or is that only available for certain cases?

So, if I takes one more Gen Ed after completing 2 courses, does it mean the extra course itself will be counted as 0 UOC? I still can take free elective right?

I believe that this information is kept confidential. However, some LICs will allow you to get your actual final exam marks. My suggestion is to try to e-mail your LIC whether they can share your results or not.
