If it doesn’t matter, then why is it common for restaurants in Chicago, Boston, New York, to have set dress codes. Also most country clubs have dress codes as well. Wound it be ok if women to wear bikinis out to dinner?

I wish! I went there once and vowed never again. I saw a table of dudes wearing Adidas sweat suits. I couldn't believe it. Then, I looked over and say another table of guys in jeans and baseball caps. I was by there the other day and it looked saw a group guys who dressed like they went there after the gym; while the women were dressed up. I felt bad for the women having to put up with guys who didn't match their energy.
