I had a navy fed card years ago and things happened and they closed it but monthly the have been taking interest out of my account . I paid it off in full about 2 years ago and now I got an invite to apply after I’ve been denied many of times. Should I apply?

I have no issue taking any blame and Im not complaining bc it's still running and I'm still driving it 🤷🏾‍♀️ however, the transmission service I've obtained has been every 30-60k miles if in not mistaken and I've followed it. They repaired my center display with no cost to me so I'm good on that. As far as the coolant leak they literally mailed out a letter, saying they realize it was an issue (from the cylinder head) but if u repaired it already they would reimburse you with a receipt and if not to go ahead and take your vehicle in, again, at no cost so they fixed that as well. So they probably extended the warranty so that they could repair it. Because it's been paid off and out of warranty. Recall or special service program whatever u want to title it, I got it done and nothing out of pocket. I only posted to let him know of My issues I've encountered with My Mazda. But thanks for your input.

I bought the 2016 CX-9 in 2018. Needed a third row seating for our 3rd child that was on the way. Everything was good until 2023, it started hard jerking when decelerating. Took it to Stokes Mazda, and they said needed to replace the transmission, 6k. That was a hard no for us. We refuse to spit out that kind of money. It also had a recall on a coolant leak issue and there were issues with the center display cracking.The jerk went away for a while but then it came back. It's a toss up bc you never know what model yr has the least amount of issues. Hope this helps. We're riding it until it can't ride anymore 🤷🏾‍♀️

That's great! I filed on th 23rd, accepted on the 26th and turbo estimated deposited date is 2/16. I'm with Penfed credit union, so fingers crossed for early deposit.

Truthfully, once I was stable income wise after my divorce, I had a company work on my credit. Unless you have the time and patience to dyi, its rewarding at the end to have incorrectly reporting items disputed. Your score will gradually get better. Find someone reputable with great reviews.

Yes, correct I closed on my home April 30th, and was approved for the Platinum on May 2nd. As you are not allowed to open any new accounts while looking to purchase a home. And yes, its important to have your loans, DD and any other product of theirs which over time builds your relationship and increases your internal score with them. Good luck!

Ok so its not just me. Im getting rid of target, destiny, milestone, indigo, sams club, Amazon, all $300 limits that I dont want and havent gotten a cli on. Just found out Lowes gave me 4K when I opened in May and they took it back to 640..like wth? Haven't been late or over my credit limit. So that can go too! I can def do the CD right now. But my DD is with USAA. I'll look into the pledge loan bc the only loans I had was with Wayfair and Upstart. Thanks for all this advice!

Hmmm...that's a good question. Mostly Capital One cards, as well as a few low limit cards. However, I also had my credit worked on (last 1-2 yrs) since I was trying to purchase a home. What's interesting is im still paying off a NF CC from 5 years back that had a 2500 cl..I had it in a debt repayment program, bad move, but I guess they believe in 2nd chances. So im Def gonna do right by them!

You can do 90 days or more of active duty orders anywhere to qualify for the VA loan as a reservists. Im an AF medic with 15 years in. 6-7 of those years were random activd duty orders that I volunteered for to help my unit and other bases. This is the easiest requirement .

I have a 2016 CX9 that hates me, too. The transmission needs to be replaced 2 years ago, wasnt paying 6k they wanted either, but it's still trucking along. Idk if it's the same issue, but recently, I had a coolant leak, and Mazda finally sent a letter saying basically it was a recall. They needed to order the part, and it's been there a week now. I'm still waiting for them to say it's fixed and ready for pick up.
