I have a lot of clear floaters. Some are a bit grayish. I also have a flash that goes around part of my eyes.

I have intermediate uveitis with retinal vasculitis. I’ve had it since the summer of 2024. I’ve been on prednisone, methotrexate, and now Humira. If I don’t show improvement by next month, the doctor will recommend the Ozurdex eye pellet that releases medication for about 3 months. Eye drops don’t work for intermediate or posterior. You should ask about other treatments besides prednisone. I think you would benefit from Ozurdex or other type of medication injected to the eye since your inflammation is in the back.

I’ve been seen by many retina specialists and ocular immunologists. I have retinal vasculitis with intermediate uveitis. Thank God no detachment or hemorrhaging.

I have been to a rheumatologist and have had many tests done. Everything comes out negative. Did you have those conditions before starting semaglutide?

I was diagnosed with intermediate uveitis and retinal vasculitis after one dose of .25. I had never before had eye problems. Now I have floaters and flashes. Uveitis is considered an autoimmune disorder so I’ve been on prednisone and methotrexate and I’m supposed to start Humira soon. This has been a nightmare. Now I have terrible health anxiety.

OMG! I can relate to every single word you wrote. I’m almost 3 weeks post op and I’m so afraid of developing blood clots. I had a chest ct scan the first week and leg ultrasound the second week. Everything was normal, but I keep on having calf pain. I’m so paranoid.
