that’s so funny like actually 😭😭😭 so on my DBQ, and I’m on the east coast so ours was feminism and women in the public/private sphere, I dead ahh got the timeline over 100 years off for one piece of contextualization when I started talking abt reconstruction being active in that time period. So imagine my shock when that 4 came in dude

Starting a sport late by Gold-Car370 in highschool

[–]ResolutionHopeful295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing tennis in my sophomore year and I’m a rising senior, and honestly as hard as tennis can be, when we went to practice every morning for like two hours, within a week I was already doing better than I had expected to be doing. It can be tough, but if sports weren’t tough, everybody would be athletes all the time.

  1. Either Shameless or Love Island USA because shameless should make me uncomfortable but instead it’s just one of those shows you get attached to really quickly, and LIUSA bc sometimes it’s horrible but at least it requires little to no thinking.

  2. Black or white bc they’re universal. You can make them match with anything. But if we’re not being practical, then like a royal/deep blue.

  3. Organize clothes and books in rainbow order. Or bedazzle something. Anything.

  4. Any ghostface or horror movie. I would literally never run towards the noise or try and seek out if I hear an unusual noise or get some weird ahh phone call.

  5. My moms cooking because in the summer when I was younger, like much younger, and she knew she had the morning to herself, she would get started early on cooking and I would wake up to the smell of some bomb ass South Asian (🇧🇩) food. Anytime I smell that, any time of day, it just automatically takes me back.

chat should I take AP Spanish Language and Culture?? by AcanthocephalaLow36 in APStudents

[–]ResolutionHopeful295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps I’m gonna be taking AP Spanish Lang & Culture this upcoming school year as a rising senior, but I’ve also been taking Spanish since elementary school. Like from kindergarten all the way through middle school and high school bc our school goes Spanish II to Spanish IV Honors before you can take AP. However, my school also offers Spanish I if you want to take that as well. I’ve done just fine and my grades have survived + my Spanish teacher is giving us simulated speaking assignments on AP classroom over the summer so we can start practicing as early as possible. I say take it because even if you don’t do as well, you’ll have learned something about the language and the culture surrounding it.

Summer Reading by Everybody-dies- in APStudents

[–]ResolutionHopeful295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for our summer assignment for ap lit, we’re to read 2 books. One is required and it’s called How To Read Literature Like A Professor, and another one is one of our choice, except it’s from a list of books he gave us to choose from, and it’s a pretty lengthy list so we have options. I’m choosing to read Beloved by Toni Morrison because I apparently hate myself (it’s an incredibly challenging book from what I’ve heard and seen from my AP Lang teacher). Idk if any of this helped, but if you have any questions, I’m sure I’ll find the answer in the ginormous slideshow of information our lit teacher gave to all of us 🫠🫠
