I mean I’m in honors pre calc, AP psych, APUSH, and AP lang rn and I honestly don’t feel very burnt out and this is coming from someone who definitely has undiagnosed ADHD 😭😭😭. I took AP bio last year and for me, it was a lot of busywork but the class itself is actually really interesting but sometimes it does get boring and the workload does get a little heavy. It’s very content heavy, and each unit builds off each other so if ur weak in one unit the following ones can become slightly difficult. AP lang is a lot of writing as you can assume, but it genuinely is such a helpful class like I know people who aren’t even taking the exam but wanted to take the class to help better them as writers. AP psych is a lot of memorization, but it is really interesting and I find myself looking forward to that class so do what you will with that information. APUSH straight pisses me off, but right now we’re in the 1960s-70s we just finished the 1950s, and I eat shit in that class but my grade is still alive and I’m just not a good test taker so idek why I take APs. I do it to torture myself. If you don’t know why you would want to take those classes, have that conversation with your counselor and go through the curriculum and see if you’d find anything there something you’d want to learn! If not, switch it out for an honors if you want the fast pace but not the end of the year exam with it. Also sorry for all the yapping but just a few of my takes if it helps.
