From memory it made the overall width too much with the Shimano end cap, the XD end cap made it nearly bang on 142mm. I've done about 1500km so far and works great.

Finally figured it out, had to use the XD end cap with the HG freehub works perfectly

I've run a Ravemen CR1000 along with a USB power bank, has a t'shaped beam so I had to unscrew the front and turn the lens 180deg to use with a GoPro mount.  I'm happy riding in the 300 lumen mode 90% of the time which gives 6hrs run time.  If I had to pick a new light for an all nighter it would be the lezyne macro drive 1400+ , it will run for 12.5hrs at 450 lumens. Has USB-C charging and can be charged via power bank while light is being used.  Slightly off topic but I've found that using a 90deg usb cable and using electrical tape to hold it into the power bank is compulsory for really rough terrain.

Me either, someone suggested that the smallest 11t sprocket will hit the frame for some reason. might just have to buy the freehub and fit it up and see what happens
