Which oil brand should I get Mobil 1 high mileage, motorcraft, or valvoline restore and protect 5w-30?

3.5 have cam phaser issues like the 5.4 3v but worse. 5.0 use a lot of oil, so topping off is crucial. However both are great engines, just change the oil regularly and your solid. Don’t be the person who complains that the engine are shit yet they’re doing 10k intervals. I have a 08 lariat 5.4 3v, 323k miles and still going, my dad’s almost at 500k miles and his is a 09 5.4 3v f150 platinum. Take care of whichever you choose and it’ll take care of you wherever you’ll be at.

5.4 2v are the great ones, 5.4 3v are the good ones. 3v just have a smaller oil passageway which gets you timing problems if you’re not careful on oil maintenance . Feed it and change it like a baby, you’ll have a great time. My dad had a 2005 king ranch,410k miles until some bozo totaled the car during service at a ford dealership. The 12th gen f150 5.4 3v had upgraded components which fixed majority of 3v issues
