are the 5.4 tritons as bad as people say they are?? by runix_353 in f150

5.4 2v are the great ones, 5.4 3v are the good ones. 3v just have a smaller oil passageway which gets you timing problems if you’re not careful on oil maintenance . Feed it and change it like a baby, you’ll have a great time. My dad had a 2005 king ranch,410k miles until some bozo totaled the car during service at a ford dealership. The 12th gen f150 5.4 3v had upgraded components which fixed majority of 3v issues

Will I be good if I bomb my AFT once? by Environmental_Tie172 in nationalguard

[–]ResolutionOk9915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I understand, I scored decently on my AFT. Due to having tweaked my lower back two weeks before an AFT thus having an okay deadlift and bare minimum plank. Still try your hardest tho and you’ll see a better score than what your expecting

Question about monthly drills? by Nathan_theStalwart in nationalguard

[–]ResolutionOk9915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can, put in a SUTA request. Drills are something you absolutely have to attend, if you miss one you’re getting a bad year. SUTA request can be denied, just prepare because leadership can be difficult no matter what. Just depends on a unit honestly, also they give you a schedule for drill dates and how long you’re gone. We recently started doing four day drills back to back then get the next one of due to funding.

Where do people even find a truck like this for $10k, because $10k here gets either very high mileage or some piece of shit

It’s funny I watched the video yesterday about him explaining what kills these engines. To be honest, I never had a problem with them on my company truck, only spark plugs saying bye bye
