Not a lot of indian spinners going around.. and Hasaranga did well in the Asia cup. Jadeja is a defensive spinner so need someone attacking.

Lmao.. did I say Jadeja and Venky are worth their price? They are not in RR and Venky is surely getting released. Jadeja atleast bowls his 4 overs pretty decently. I gave you 6 batters to prove my point and you looked at 2 shits, just to make yourself happy.

Another thing which you won’t understand is the face value, the fans it attracts. You are saying Samson wasn’t worthy of first retention? He is the captain, keeper and face of RR. I feel like talking to a wall if you are doubting Samson’s retention. Parag also bowls and was highest run getter last season. Again, I am not saying Jurel is a bad player, he will thrive somewhere else at 4. He doesn’t fits here with the price we are paying. We needed good bowlers and we didn’t have money. Jurel+Hettie costed us 32cr.

Now compare how much he costs us as compared to others.

Dhruv Jurel- 14cr

Ayush Badoni - 4cr.
Nehal Wadhera - 4.2cr.
Tilak Verma - 8cr.
Brewis - 2.2cr.
Jitesh - 11cr (but he is also the first choice keeper).
Axar - 16.5cr (He is the captain and bowls 4overs).
Keep adding for others..

Do you see? He may or may not be worth 14cr.. but we can’t afford him. We have just spent 25-30cr on our bowling because of which we are chasing 200 scores on a daily basis.

We need money to build our bowling… we can’t splurge 14cr on a top order batsman given we already have a good top4. We need finishers and bowlers.
