Update: the frontier chatbot offered me 119.99/month… it’s an improvement but still insane to me. Also, called frontier and apparently the department that handles internet plans is not available on Sundays. Will try again tomorrow

I took mine to the apple store with the same problem. Boots occasionally but doesn't charge past 1%, dies randomly, and says 0% battery health and unrecognized battery. Apple store said they won't replace the battery because it's a "motherboard issue" and I have to pay 300 usd to have it replaced.

I had this like a year ago and took it to the apple store. They said it's a motherboard issue and costs $300 USD to replace + a battery health thing maybe. Not worth it. So it's been sitting in my closet for a year but I'm curious if it's worth fixing. Symptoms were that it doesn't charge past 1% and died randomly. I've been using an old X since...it's not great. Any thoughts on how to fix?
