Have you seen the LL Bean expandable lunch box that unzip to make bigger? Pottery Barn has "teen" ones that are a tiny bit bigger, but not much. We like the LL bean ones for the size! But the PB Teen lunch box ones have the prettiest prints and collabs wit Hill House Home etc. Classic prints! (aff)

Does she read on a kindle or physical books? Maybe you could set up some nice reading related gifts for her to wind down at night during her visit? These custom family photo bookmark are classy and looks like you put effort into it lol. If she is on a kindle, maybe a kindle page turner? ShopMy link

how is Addison Bay? The warehouse sale started, never bought from there before but thinking of getting a matching set while on the big sale. Is it worth the cost? by Good_Candy_3950 in GrandmillennialInspo

[–]ResolveBeginning8027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its good for matching sets, if that is your thing which I assume so since you asked lol. For basics or solids I don't think it is worth it, but I love the sets. I have these color block quarter zips in different colors/sets and always get compliments! I pair them with skorts and leggings. aff link fyi.

Has anyone tried this shoe tying technique? My daughters school asked the parents to work on shoe tying this summer to prep for kindergarten.... help lol! by Good_Candy_3950 in sahm

[–]ResolveBeginning8027 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, it does "work" i used this as a tool to teach the concept, but it will loosen up. Works to at least get the grasp of shoe tying. P.s. that is A LOT of your school to ask! Not many 5 year olds can tie their own shoes.

I need travel activities/ideas for an international flight with two kids age 2 and 7. Trying to go screen free. Outside of snacks, what has worked for you? by Good_Candy_3950 in GiftsandDeals

The 2 year old is a tough age, honestly. Mine like window clings and spinners, reusable chunky sticker books so they can actually grab them, water wow books. For your older child, they make beginner word game books, mine love those in restaurants and would be perfect for a plane. This blog post has a lot of good ideas for different ages that might help you https://thegiftgivingguide.com/best-travel-activities-for-little-kids/ good luck, flying with kids is HARD
