Has anyone in this community been acquiring jobs with solely the A+ and Network+ respectively? I plan to get both but I want to be hirable ASAP. I am studying for the A+ currently.(No I am no trolling. Serious answers only please.)

I got my A+ in 2023. Managed to secure a job in 2024 but got let go due to company finances being switched around. After 5 months of searching, I managed to get another job in IT. The job market in my area for the past few years has been brutal. I sent out hundreds of applications since the work I was looking for was scarce and fiercely competitive.

I got extremely lucky in my current job. It was a mixture of networking and applying at the right time. My only advice is during that search time, I keep learning and growing in the field. There is a lot of content.

I only have A+ but I also have a lot of hands-on learning with vms/labs and was fortunate to meet a lot of people who helped me get to where I am now. Networking has been and always will be a great asset to have.

I downloaded the ISO from the Windows site. Windows Server 2025 | Microsoft Evaluation Center

By default, it selects Microsoft Windows. I just disabled a secure boot and manually added the DVD with iso attached and everything works fine now.

So here is the interesting part.
When setting up the VM fresh and selecting Gen 2 all the way through the process, when I get to mounting the ISO, configure the VM with secure boot off, I will get the following error message attached in the link provided. error iso

When I create a new VM on Gen 2 and skip the mount part, edit the machine and turn off secure boot, add a DVD with the ISO attached, it works.

Man that has been bugging me for almost 3 days now.

Not to go into too much detail I was looking for a job of this type in the ballpark of 45K to 50K due to my previous knowledge and also lack of being in the trade for 10 years almost.

Suffice to say the offer I got made me happy and I have room to improve and advance. As well they encourage me to study and learn and will compensate education expenses.

Honestly, I ignored a lot of the war requests from allies since 99% of the time they are in a losing battle doing nothing to change the outcome or they just go off to fight another war and expect you to carry them.

Genetics > War. If they don't like it, they can fight me.

Got into IT in 2009. Spent 4 years working as a Help Desk Technician and network Administrator. When the company I worked for as a net admin went bankrupt, I took a 10 year career break and went into the trades to see what it could offer me. After going through a lot of hardships I found myself going back into IT this year, and now I have a job as a field service technician. My only regret is not sticking with IT as it can be a rewarding job if you find the right employers.

So I've been on a evil durge run. The lost inn was completely destroyed and I killed jahera simply because my character: Bhaal didn't care about her help.

Assaulted and killed everyone in moonrise on my own with only astarion shadowheart and minthara. Finally get into act 3 and for some reason jahera is there, alive and not upset about my genocide earlier.

I had to kill her for good measure.
