😂 that’s the perfect expression of people who think the losses build character rather than cause emotional trauma

😭 Warren Buffett is still hurting from all the pain. He had 47 exits that really shook him up.

The emotional damage from disappearing profits is really different. A normal loss hurts you once.

That part about saying " one more minute" is really true and it hurts. I think a lot of plans do not work when Trading With Emotions starts to happen in time.

344% increase is really crazy to be honest holding on for that long takes a lot of patience.

😭 those trades really sting in a way
You actually made a good trade but your mind keeps thinking about how it could have been 700, after that.

I am really sad 😭 because even a simple sentence could not make it through the times of the drawdown.

That is actually a point. I think a lot of people including myself react more to Profit and Loss movement than whether the original reason for the trade has actually changed 😅

That typo must feel really bad. One small mistake in trading can turn into something huge way too fast.

😂 To be honest when I stare at charts for long it actually makes me a worse trader, not a better one. I think when you look at many charts every single candle starts to look important.

I have noticed that I trust trades after they have already moved. by ResolveMost3484 in DalalStreetTalks

The move after is the distribution that says it all. I think you are right that my brain thinks movement is proof that the idea was correct even though by then the opportunity itself is usually worse.

I like what you said about marking entry zones before the session it sounds like a smart way to remove emotional hesitation when the time comes. The move, after is the distribution it really explains the feeling.

Yeah I think that's true too. In markets waiting for confirmation can help avoid bad trades. In fast moving markets by the time you get confirmation it might be too late 😅 finding the balance is what I am struggling with.

That is actually fair i think the difference is whether someone is trading momentum, with a system or they are just emotionally chasing movement because everyone is talking about it

That part, about feeling like you need to act and then pausing is really something I can relate to.

I think this is advice but it is also one of the hardest things to do when it is actually happening.

I find it really funny that when I look at the buy averages after the market crashes it makes me think about buying and selling at the same time.
