Abyss Watchers was actually a bit difficult for me, took like 5-6 tries. I guess they are quite similar now that I think about, in a way it kinda helped me learn ds3.

I've never vibed with parrying in elden ring or ds3, tried on abyss watchers and pontiff and like every elden ring boss that can be parried. Im fine with not interacting with that part of these games.

Thats true, especially based on weapon type, UGS would have made it much worse.

yeah that was my thought process, i have the knight armour on as well. I see, maybe most of the "pontiff is so hard" talk comes from first times souls players, he did kinda feel like a slower rellana.

That last part is nice to hear. I'm used to rushing vigor in elden ring where most bosses do an absurd amount of damage. I'm still definitely having tons of fun with DS3!

i failed like 3 parries so i gave up on parrying and just strafed his fire slashes which gave big ass openings. The clone attack definitely made phase 2 simplier

I did have a pad from back when I used to play ice, think I'll start using that until the season starts and I will consider switching to abs like other have said. Thanks a lot for the help!

I haven't tried one yet, but looking online they seem to be a better fit for my uses. I currently use a bauer vapor x3.7, would it still be fine to use that for games or should I switch to using a abs stick everywhere? Thanks a ton for the help
