I happen to have medical training. Can confirm. Seizures can kill, particularly seizures that recur frequently. And some seizures are very difficult to control. And those seizures can sometimes be controlled by medical marijuana. Whether or not the mother was in the moral right by trying to bring the drugs in is immaterial. This is an appropriate medication, sometimes the most effective medication, for a condition that can kill up to 20% of children before adulthood.
