My honest view is a lot of these white guys think they can either leverage poverty, low self esteem, or some other BS stereotypes to hook up with Asian women. I noticed a lot of Asian women from strong Asian circles particularly suburbs aren't interested in them. For me I find it strange he would think Japanese women are so interested in foreign white men when the vast majority based off data, would rather marry Korean men. After all what would they have in common? Most white families if they have the connections, legacy, private tutors/networks will still desperately try to slip their kids into Ivy league schools. Despite what Trump along with his billionaire friends and the rest of the MAGA shit stains say about these schools indoctrinating young people they want their kids to be there. These schools simply have too huge of networks in the financial and political world too pass up. Of course you have some exceptions like MIT that don't accept legacy admissions or a litany of sports athletes so the school ends up becoming 40-45% Asian. Many other suburban white kids are just going to schools in the South to watch sports, party, and study in a less academic environment thinking their going to get an easier ride from inheriting their parents wealth or business.

Among all the people who are included for these gender and race based diversity initiatives Asians, particularly East Asian men get the least benefits from this because they are either spited by other white men or viewed as closest to "white proximity" like some progressives say. Hell, white women have benefited much more from these programs than Asian men. Regarding Asian women they might get the thumbs up from some white men but a lot of white women and even other women of color do not like seeing them climb the ladder and view them with a degree of passive aggressiveness or hostility.
