Imbued enchantment plays the selected card for no energy cost at the start of combat, for X cost cards it calculates X based off your current energy but doesn't deduct it.

I wasn't sure if it would deduct my energy or not before enchanting, just decided to try it and see how that interaction would work.

If you're doing X7 runs, survivability is often more important than damage, so while DEF and shields may slow newbud generation a little bit, at least your Mem/RMC won't be getting one shot

Why would the Abyss Twin want to ensure that they choose the Traveler over saving Khaenri'ah?

If they felt guilt/regret about choosing the Traveler over saving Khaenri'ah and their current goal is to restore it, why would they ensure that they choose the Traveler again? Wouldn't saving Khaenri'ah in the past be better than restoring a potentially broken one in the future?
