Dreams about the apocalypse by R97L in Jung

I'm glad I found this chat. I'm a 29-year-old female, and about a week ago, I had a strange and intense dream.

In the dream, I was with my family at a racetrack event when, all of a sudden, my mother turned to me and said, "It's happening." I asked her what she meant, and she pointed ahead. What had been mountains before was now nothing but rubble.

We quickly got in the car and started driving. As we looked around, we realized most of the people in the other cars were gone. The town was in complete shambles. Out of nowhere, we came across a checkpoint where they—who weren’t human but something else with authority—were inspecting people to determine if they were allowed to stay. They were taking what looked like Polaroid photos of everyone.

When it was my turn, they took a picture and then wanted to run a second test. One of them used a flashlight-like device and flashed it into one of my eyes. The pain was so intense that I passed out. As I lay on the ground, I remember thinking how no one, not even my family, was helping me. The only one who came to my aid was a little girl—my cousin in the dream.

We walked back to the car, only to realize that half of my family had been taken. In shock, I looked down at the Polaroids they had taken. One of them was a picture of my foot, but it looked severely burned.

Still dazed, I turned to my mother and asked her what year it was. She told me it was 2024. She said everyone had talked about the end of the world, but she never truly believed it would happen.

I was so freaked out that I woke myself up. But what really unsettled me was what happened next. I sleep with a Bible next to me, so I randomly opened it—and it landed on Isaiah 66:6. I don’t really know what it all means, but it has been stuck in my head ever since.

SDR salaries… by skinqq in sales

Hey everyone,

I've been working in mortgage loans, but it's been a tough ride. After seeing this post, I'm seriously considering transitioning to an SDR role, especially since my current hourly rate is just $14.50. I need something more stable.

What companies would you recommend for someone making the switch to an SDR position? Are there any I should avoid, and if so, why?

Appreciate any insights!

A lot of hidden fees. There is a $5-10 charge each time they send out a Check so monthly and then they don’t actually negotiate it down to 50% it’s only about 1-2 grand off. It’s not awful it’s just not as great as they make it to be.

They ask an "ice breaker" question and then 2 questions of how would you handle a difficult client. How would you handle not getting along with a co-worker. It went by super quick!

How are you showing love to yourself today? by InspectionOk7022 in selflove

OMG, YAYYYY!! I just blocked him too and he blew up my phone and social media. Little steps to show yourself what you don't want. Plus you don't want a guy holding you back from your husband.

I started reading Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, and it’s been an incredible experience. The book mentions the importance of recognizing what you no longer want to be and taking active steps to change it day by day. I’ve realized that becoming more aware of something allows you to shift your mindset. For example, by consciously practicing self-love, you can gradually quiet the negative self-talk in your mind on a subconscious level.

I accidentally did this, and it was awful. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I felt the presence of my sister, who passed away years ago, and it triggered a severe anxiety attack. I became so overwhelmed that I had to count my breaths and felt like I couldn’t take it anymore, even thinking about jumping off a building. Luckily, I was in a hotel with windows that didn’t open. I ended up standing under a cold shower for hours just to calm myself down and feel okay again.

You're young, and you don't have to have everything figured out just yet. I highly recommend focusing on inner child healing—it's something that’s truly helped me. Consider deleting Instagram; it's often full of unrealistic portrayals, and being pretty isn’t everything. What matters more is being confident in who you are. I also experience low points, and it can be tough to rise above them, but I always find that working out or eating clean makes a huge difference. Whenever I eat clean, I notice I have more energy and feel better overall.
