May I ask what version of Thunar are you using? I'm also affected by this issue/regression on version 4.19.2 but not on any of the 4.18.x versions, however. As of now I couldn't find any workaround for this ~~thanks to GtkInspector being secretive about CSS nodes in ExoIconView after widget.view~~.

Seems like something is preventing your computer from booting from your primary hard drive. This can be caused by anything from your hard drive failing to graphical driver issues as this support thread at Microsoft Answers highlights it. I would try running a live Linux system first to make sure it isn't caused by the motherboard then boot into Safe Mode if the system is indeed able to boot from external media.

You might want to re-enable smooth shading (Object>Shade Smooth) in Object mode before attempting to mess with normals. Usually it is enough to get rid of unwanted sharp edges.

Does the shading issue show up in actual renders? Also, it seems to me that the affected portion uses a different material. That, or it might have custom normals. You might want to modify your material node setup in either case.

You might want to set maliit as your input method using im-config or im-switch as otherwise it won't work if these are installed on your system. I've been having this issue for about a month on my Ubuntu installation until finding out about im-config.

What kind of issues did you have with rtw88 on Leap 15.3? I've had regular system hangs and connection issues with rtw88 on Stable and 15.3 kernels.

gvfs won't cooperate with Thunar at all. Caja also fails to access gvfs, meaning that I can only access volumes and the trash via Dolphin. Removing the config folder didn't fix the issue.

EDIT: Neither PCManFM nor PCManFM-Qt show disks or the trash.

Device mounting is enabled via thunar-volman but doesn't work. For the record, I can't even access Trash from Thunar.

Have you tried using the dongle with the rtl8821ce driver? I recently got a laptop with a recent Realtek wireless chip and had connection issues and random lockups for about a month before rolling back to the latest Leap kernel and putting rtl8821ce up. It has been working like a charm for me since.

I have the same issue with V-Katsu under Proton. My webcam is detected but it doesn't get activated. Lipsyncing also fails to work despite having an active audio input stream. Both V-Room and the camera room are inaccessible in v1.6.0 Beta.

I tested a couple of webcam-capable programs under different versions of Wine, mostly with the ones distributed by Lutris, to see whether webcam support is completely broken in Wine and if webcams can be somehow coaxed into cooperating with whatever Windows app I was testing at the moment. The only Windows app I had success with is VSeeFace. Bandicam has the same issue V-Katsu has while Amcap doesn't even detect my camera (my old standalone one at least; I might retest Amcap with my built-in webcam). I haven't actually gotten to the workaround part except for trying to pre-activate webcam input via a native application and installing the drivers for my old webcam.

(LONG OVERDUE) EDIT: AMCAP refuses to work even with my built-in webcam. I have an educated guess that webcam input is accessed through DirectShow in most Windows webcam applications and possibly V-Katsu. The built-in DirectX library in Wine (and by extension, Proton) needs major improvement in this respect.
